Buffista Music III: The Search for Bach

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Sad news.

Holy shit, that's awful. I saw House of Freaks play live too. Who'd do that to a family?

Jesus. That made me sick to my stomach. I've seen House of Freaks as well. That's so sad.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Yeah, that's absolutely tragic.

All I can say about Dee Dee's rap career is that he's a better rapper than I. Which is like saying a quadruple amputee is a better swimmer than an anvil.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I'm pretty sure I've been to the World of Mirth store the mother worked at. My friend Kelly lives in Carytown. I just cried a little.

I can't imagine coming to visit your friends and finding the house in flames and then everything else.

I can't imagine coming to visit your friends and finding the house in flames and then everything else.

t obsessive rambling because I read waaay too many stories about this after sumi linked to that initial one

The whole thing is like a movie in that it is just so hard to comprehend 1. anyone doing something so horrible especially to children and 2. friends and family having to cope with the sudden sickening tragedy of it all. Throw in the fact that most of them found out by actually arriving for a party, and, from what I've read in several newstories, it looks like the family was in a hostage situation before they were killed that a friend dropping off their daughter actually walked in on but (obviously) had no way of knowing what was happening.

Plus the family sounds so beloved in their community - which hadn't had a homicide since 1987 (and there were two others that same day - gunshot victims less than two miles away).

It's all really freaky and seems like fiction. I wish it was fiction.
