Strawberry disappointment.

What I thought was good was that when Veronica phoned Wallace at the end, she apologised, but then she said that she didn't want to lose another friend. So once again it was about her. Which, of course, it so often is. I liked that she never played the CD though.

Duncan remains dull to me.

Wallace rocks.

Is Weevil on holiday?

A bug. Ha!

All is well that ends in pizza.

then she said that she didn't want to lose another friend. So once again it was about her

Yeah, but then she wouldn't be Veronica...

Would a simple "I don't want to lose your friendship" be a more neutral way? Or is that too much "I"?

Because books.

she said that she didn't want to lose another friend. So once again it was about her

Yeah, but...points for honesty. In a friendship, that's valuable. At least she's admitting she'll have to take some responsibility if it's lost.

the whole credit card thing is the issue i had. it's murky.

At least I wasn't the only one!

Oh yeah, no problem there. Just saying it's good character continuity.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I actually found myself enjoying the D/V scenes in this episode. definitely the first time this season. of course, it probably has to do with the fact that she was essentially talking down to him.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I loved the D/V scenes. Not a shipper, but at least V was herself.

Wallace was wonderful. and I think running off with his dad - perfectly natural. He can't trust his girlfriend , mom, or best friend. not wise, but normal.

I am guessing Jakie and Veronica will have to pull together to save Wallace somehow.

I am guessing there is somethign wrong with Jackie. There was something in the first show that made think something was wrong. not drugs. Serious illness, chronic condition - something .

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I finally got to see the episode. Was I the only one who noticed the odd look on Jackie's face when the card gets declined? It was sort of smirky, and I got a definitely "I'm up to no good" vibe from it. I figured she got the idea to involve Veronica in something then, after all the "Veronica's my hero" talk in homeroom. She strikes me as the kind of person who could easily have maxed out her cards, and I don't get the feeling that she might have put the whole plan into place before visiting psychic.

If I only had a brain...

When Mr. Mars copped to having stolen Wallace's folder, I thought "Well, now we know where Veronica gets her boundaries issues from." Because that was unforgivable between two adults. You want to know something? Ask me and put up with my answer. Don't steal my stuff.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I couldn't believe Keith took those documents either. I know he did it after Alicia lied to him about her ex-husband. But it has to be rough on those around the Mars family to possibly be investigated.

I thought it was interesting that Veronica didn't invade Duncan's privacy the week before, but Keith was more than willing to invade Alicia's.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Those boundary issues are probably exacerbated by his job(s). I also found it interesting that he admitted to it.
