The Wallace stuff was good, although yeah, leaving with BioDad seems sketchy, and definitely just an I've-got-a-mad-on thing he'll probably regret.
I was wondering about the pills, too, Gris, because 1) what are they? and 2) why take them right before the dance?
I was also really creeped by the Jackie/Logan vibe even before the dance, and have the feeling the two of them are going to be committing some kind of mayhem together.
Sadly, this is the one episode I'd like to rewatch for plot logic, since the whole credit card/psychic thing still seems off to me, but it was the one episode I didn't tape since Lost was a repeat.
Amyliz - many (possibly all) UPN stations repeat VM sometime over the weekend.
Ransom observation: In the opening credits, the drawing that accompanies the actor who plays Jackie includes a bottle of pills. A clue?
During the opening credit sequence I noticed that the little lined paper drawing under Jackie was that of pill bottles. Dunno if that was there before; this was the first time I noticed.
I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be the pills she was on. We see her taking them, we know there's no alcohol at the dance (that's mentioned at least once or twice), and she's clearly fucked up later.
ETA: this was a cross-post.
In the beginning, when the psychic tells Jackie her card has been denied, was that a mislead? Like Jackie gave her another one, and had the idea to "get" Veronica?
Someone else posited that the plan started before then. That she deliberately maxed out her credit card on the psychic's stuff in order to leave the paper trail that would lead Veronica there.

It's been there since the beginning, and people had been speculating about its significance.

It doesn't make more sense that way. If Jackie wants to suggest that the psychic stole the card, it shouldn't have been maxed out there. An earlier purchase should be established (psychic steals it then) and then it should be maxed out anywhere else (to make it seem like either the psychic or her friend maxed it out). As for the candles, since they were likely purchased somewhere else (they have a brand name), it could be that Jackie duplicated the purchase she noticed there or bought candles and brought them to the psychic.
Is Wallace 18? Would BioDad be worried about kidnapping charges?
after/between Wallace's serenade to his bio-dad he mentioned that he'd had "almost 18 years" to find him. so i'm thinking he's not quite of age.
the whole credit card thing is the issue i had. it's murky.
He and Wallace are the people I'd most want to hang with, on the show.
The actors are roommates (or were last spring).
That's true! I remember hearing that at the symposium thing in L.A. where the screened the Polly episode.
That was awesome.
My favorite bit was how they showed a random scene from "Welcome to the Hellmouth" before it started. It was just fun. Well, okay, the interviews were actually better, but whatever.

Yeah, they're not living together anymore (no drama, just...they're not).
