The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Victor, it does get better. I had those same problems, plus I have serious issues with Veronica herself, and I stopped watching after three or four eps. People here convinced me to give it another shot, and now I am glad I did.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

It didn't feel (to me) like something she would do and it irritated me.

Ah. See, I saw it as exactly the kind of thing she would do. Veronica's kind of cheerfully amoral about her cases, really.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Thanks for the re-assurances. Will be giving it a second chance soon.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

fially saw the ep. Something was off, because I didn't stay glued to my chair like I usually do. But, I am looking forward to wednesday's ep.

... I forgot to hit post.

as I was in the garden , i was thinking. first I see the whole show as a take on the noir detective novel - which has a lot of sterotypes used to illustrate that even the best case senerio ( like the A story) leaves someone hurt.

second , the coed scene. It was not comfortabel becasue Veronica knew she had a straight arrow. She did her 'job' , she did it well - but she knew there wasn't going to be a gotta moment. So we ( audience) had to look a little harder at what she is doing.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I'm just getting caught up via repeats since I kinda watch Lost most weeks, but it was kind of cool to see the new girl--Jackie is played by Tess, who was the lead in a play ND designed this summer. I got to know her, and she's a sweetheart. Hell of an actress, too. I don't know if it's showing in the series yet (I'm all dumb and fan-girly because I'm so happy for her, so a bit biased). Last time I talked to her, she was really loving being a part of the cast.

Anyway, I wish like hell Lost and VM weren't against each other this season. Grrr.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Wow, that's really cool, Kristin!

I...don't think much of her acting thus far, though that may be because I hate her character so much. Other people have given her props, though.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I can't stand her character either.

I don't like her character - but I am interested in what is her secret. So I am guessing as an actress she is doing a good job. I can only really judge how good someone is by seeing them in multiple roles. Unless, of course they are really bad.

The last time I saw her, she was playing a cat. No really, a cat. And she was good.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Lemme guess: was it Cats?
