Well, my VM dvds arrived and they're in that completely annoying format in which you constantly have to touch all the dvds to take one out -- you know like the Lost dvds. And you really have to bend the dvds to get them out as well. I suppose all the new WB dvd sets are going to be like this.
'Beneath You'
Veronica Mars: Annoy, Tiny Blonde One. Annoy Like the Wind.
[NAFDA] Spoiler Policy: Seasons 1-3 and the movie are fair game. Spoiler font two weeks for new content presented all at once (e.g. Season 4 on Hulu is fair game as of Aug. 9, 2019). New content presented as weekly episodes may be discussed with no restrictions as it is released.
H. Richard Casablancas? His first name is something other than Richard and he CHOOSES to go by Dick? Dear lord.
Ooh. I like the non-Veronica-centered Duncan/Logan confrontation. Excellent.
Jackie and Lily would have either gotten along like a house on fire, or gotten into a KICKASS fight!
Jackie IS a bit of Lilly redux, isn't she?
Mac-sighting in the preview! Woo-hoo!
Good episode. Dick Sr. fleeing the scene and the reveal of the stunt-guy were both well-done, although I think there'll be more to the latter than some hero-worshipper-with-a-grudge. And both Duncan/Logan and Veronica/Logan confrontations were great.
Uh-oh. Alicia with a dark past? Can't one decent mother figure on the show remain untainted?
It's like he's got Mom issues instead of Joss' dad issues.
And, random note: if you were an employee somewhere and your boss started running through going "Shred everything!" what would you do? Because my first instinct would be to run away, not to start shredding anything. Unless I knew shit, at which point it might be to go meet the cops and offer to plea for a reduced sentence...
I would definitely not shred anything, let alone everything.
I wasn't watching last year, but, damn, is a lot happening fast.
Poor Beaver.
MY SHOW!!!! sorry for the asscaps, but this episode was definitely the episode to convince me that RT isn't going to disappoint me with Veronica-wannabe-version-1.0.
the confrontations between Logan/Duncan and Logan/Veronica is exactly what i've been waiting for. i think Logan may have broken me with his "i hate him too, you know" comment.
snarkfests that rival V/L? V and Sheriff Lamb. "it means you're an adult now, kiddo!" "well...that makes one of us." hahahaha...
Pride and Prejudice 600 pages? My Norton is 250!
ETA: I mean, great episode!
I really liked tonight's episode, but I don't think it was as good as the last two. Plus, I miss Weevil. They're definitely starting the season by giving more questions than answers.
I agree - my show! I didn't recognize it in either of the first 2 eps.
I hate Veronica's new hair, but hopefully it's symbolic - halfway between the long innocent Veronica1.0 do and the short, sharp 2.0.
I also hate Jackie, but I think I'm supposed to, which probably means she'll be good after all.
I think I love the Beav Cassidy.. he's just so clueless and cute. I want to pinch his little cheeks.
Speaking of, how funny was V. - "Wallace and his little puddin' cup" and "Girls just love unicorns!" - I was dying.
Logan/Veronica - good stuff. V almost sounds like she really hates him. But at least she's expressing some emotion towards him, whereas last week and in the premiere there was just nothing. As a LoVe* shipper, I take that as a good sign.
- - yes, I know how obnoxious that is. I find it amusing.
