Tiggy, you might want to whitefont "no takebacks!!", since it sort of hints at the reversal of last week's HSQ. Just being super-cautious re. spoilerishness. But I am mostly in agreement with you. Unless Meg is only kept alive in order to impart some crucial hints to Veronica before shuffling her comely mortal coils.

Thank you kindly! t /Fraser

As someone who's always found Charisma Carpenter jaw-droppingly beautiful but found her portrayal of Cordelia weirdly sexless (i.e. Cordelia/Xander = cute but not hot, Cordelia/Angel = sucking black hole of anti-chemistry, and Cordelia/Connor = a cool way to decimate C/A but otherwise tepid and sort of ew), I am curious to see how her character will fare opposite Jason Dohring, who's got a bit of Big Block of Concrete thing going on. But then, I would have said that about David Boreanaz before the Angel/Cordy debacle.

CC is undeniably beautiful. especially considering that body produced a child.

Cordy/Xander is probably one of my favorite Buffy pairings ever, but i agree that it wasn't so much HOTT as it was sweet with snark.

i'm not sure i'll be able to jump on the JD/CC train, but i'm reserving judgement until i've actually seen it. mostly i just want Logan to have something good in his life and this thing with Kendall is just more bad.

Well, I don't expect to get on the Logan/Kendall train in a shippy sense since it's obviously meant to be twisted and fucked-up (I see it as Logan reenacting Aaron/Lilly with himself in the victim's role, which is just all kinds of wrong, but man, it's such a Logan thing to do), but I'm willing to be surprised. I think it'll be interestingly train-wrecky to watch, especially the power dynamic between the two.

Frankly, Logan is such a mess that I don't think a functional romantic relationship would fit the character at this point. I mean, I enjoy the character hugely, but I'm kind of rubbing my hands in my corner and squeeing, "yeah! Hurt him! Hurt him some more! he's so pretty when he's broken!". 'Cause I am a big meanie.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Poor Logan. I am so very, very glad that I am not involved in larger VM fandom, because I'm fairly sure if I were I would end up hating him, and I don't want to, poor asshole kinda-evil devoted boy that he is.

Hoo-yah. CC was smoking! I think she looks even better since the baby (there being so much evidence to go on now).

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Just saw the premiree ( well 500 post ago now) . My biggest problem with it ... the switch n bait boyfriend game. It felt more like "ha ha, lets play with viewers " than Veronica telling the story of her summer vacation. OTH, as per usual, I didn't budge off the coach durring the whole episode ( which is why I chose it over LOST).

Weevil knew in his heart that Logan didn't kill Feilix. He is aware his control is slipping - if it was ever really there at all.

After reading this thread I am really glad that Betsy pointed out that this is in the noir genre. My little brain hadn't made the connection. and it explains why I can except things that are very realistic.

and the clinging - was to the past not duncan. her hold on her old place was slipping the minute she picked up an investigation. ( Like Buffy she was denying her destiny. though talent and need are more accurate)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

and I heard this song in the background when the bus went off the cliff. back to life, back to reality....

The song is "Ashes," by Embrace.

Vonnie and tiggy, you guys are worrying me! Stop it!

Wee bit o' trivia: the reason Rob has used the name Jennings Crawford in Slave Day, Cupid, and now VM is that Jennings Crawford is a good friend of his with a very cool name. He's the lead singer of the Wannabes, who had a song in the pilot.

Also, the bit about "paint your nails and talk on the phone" was indeed a shout-out to the TWoP icon.

Strawberry disappointment.

I am indeed male, occasionally a hologram, but always male.

CC is sex on plate. Just to keep on topic.
