I liked this. Yay.
Dick... rocked. I love you, Dick!
Poor Piz is too much in love. Surprise!
Short sentences are my friends. Good night.

Well, next week is really two one hour episodes, right? So, the first hour - sex tape stuff -- the second -- who knows what?
someone at the comm pointed out that it's pretty much verbatim what Variety is saying except the VM portion of it. personally, i don't believe anything until the Upfronts or when it's been officially confirmed by someone at the network.
Was the Fitzpatrick henchman named Tommy Shaw? Tommy Shaw, on his way back to (the River) Styx, in fear for his life from the long arm of the law, the renegade who had it made, retrieved for a bounty?
Why, yes, I think it was that guy.

Rob Thomas said a while ago that the last two episodes would be a two-parter, but I think the plans changed since then. So we'll probably just get two one-hour episodes.

Heee! It's that awesome Styx song they used at the end of that bank-robber episode of Supernatural! When fandoms collide, etc.
That was a really good episode. The Apollo story kept me hanging and resolved itself very satisfyingly. I loved that Apollo was shrewd and smart, but no less genuine. This was so much better at tackling weighty issues than that heavy-handed episode wtih the middle eastern restaurant owners. And colour me floored at Casablancas Sr. return and at Dick's outburst. I didn't know Ryan Hansen had it in him. WOW.
Lots of solid threads being laid out for the next season if there is one:
Veronica and FBI internship
Vinnie likely winning the election, forcing Keith to go back to PI job
Stuff with Dick and his father
Wallace taking the job in Africa, explaining his likely long absence
Piz and Veronica probably not working out, because he's way more invested in the relationship than Veronica is.
Damn. I thought I was at peace with letting the show go, but I really want it to be renewed now..
Last night at ABC's upfront bash, a high-level Warner Bros. executive confirmed what I first reported yesterday: It's entirely possible that the CW will delay a decision on Mars' fate until after Thursday's upfront. Contractually, the net has until June 15 to reach a verdict, and the extra time would allow Rob Thomas to produce an actual script for VM in the FBI. That's one scenario. The other scenario is that the show is dead. I think we can all agree that Scenario One is preferable. One thing is certain: VM will not be on the schedule that Dawn Ostroff presents to advertisers on Thursday morning.
What this basically means is that there is zero chance of Year Two at Hearst. They're cancelling without cancelling. I'm thinking of next week as a series finale, and if we get the FBI thing, I'll be happy, but it's not like it will be continuing all these plot threads we're getting right now anyway.
They're cancelling without cancelling.
Basically, yeah. I think the FBI thing is a possibly for announcement later, but unofficially-announced, it's deed. Poor Veronica, I hardly knew yee.
