To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Never liked Piz much, but now ... OK. The moment he kissed her was the first time I came around to him. Probably because he wasn't being a mopey bitch.

Good episode, all around. And a Principal Clemins cameo!

Art Crawl!!!

Oh, I have no doubt that his heart is doomed (and poor Wallace in the middle.)

Oh, and I really, really wanted somebody to say something about a "new sheriff in town."

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

It was great having Veronica back.

Seeing Veronica/Piz in action has not made me warm up to the concept one bit.

Loved all the little call backs (and the Clemmons cameo) to previous episodes with the fake IDs, Mac telling about how she and Veronica met, Max asking Mac if her friends hired her. Plus, OMG, we actually had both Mac and Wallace in the same episode without it being a token appearance on either count.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I have to be honest. i really, really liked this episode. i'm not one of those people who are anti-Logan and Veronica with anyone who isn't one or the other, but i wasn't sure about Piz/Veronica. mostly because he just hasn't done much besides pine for her. that kiss was nice, but yeah she's totally going to break his heart.

I liked that even though there was awkwardness between L/V, it wasn't overwhelming and they bantered it away. (it also didn't hurt that they both said a lot without actually saying it when seeing the other with their "new friend".

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

On the one hand, yeah there were heart flutters, on the other...SHE'S NOT IN A PLACE TO BE WHAT YOU WANT DUDE! Let Oz be your co-pilot, "That's ok. I can wait."

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I also thought it was a sweet episode.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I liked Bronson, but I think I'm going to have to 'ship Mac and Max. "You guys can work out who's gonna change names."

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Yeah, I thought that was totally cute! Yay for Mac. She deserves it.

What is even happening?

That was such an episode of Veronica Mars. Mac was a little harsh with Veronica I thought, but in a good way -- a way that made me feel protective of Veronica. Piz is so good when he's not being the uber goober (and a whiny little bitch, as victor notes). I am Daisy when it comes to Bronson-Mac-Max.

The tension between Veronica and Logan was nicely done. Their exchange about him having so many friends when he doesn't even like people made me say, "Oh, show."

I like that Veronica's fake IDs played into Keith's story, and that Wallace and Piz mattered on their own.

My only real nit was the cake. It was...weird, and I'm not sure it was worth it, just for Parker to give Veronica the piece with Logan's face. It was nearly so, though.

I'm pretty sure I'd watch a season of stand alone mysteries of this show, provided there was still a serial element with the characters' personal lives.

Good for Piz, for going all in. Veronica will break his heart, but I'm glad she was able to pinch Logan's heart accidentally, when she went for the second Piz kiss.

I *know* the cancelation is all but official, but when I was watching last night's episode, it didn't feel canceled. It felt like the Little Show that Could -- the little show that will pull another season out of its hat, at the last minute.
