victor, I would totally watch that story. (Then they could have the Piz actor on the show just sometimes and it would all be in flashback.)

Exactly. And Logan can be a prime suspect, but it'll turn out to instead have been a rabid LoVe shipper.
I'd want Keith and Weevil to stay and maybe the other minor characters to make appearances.
"Hey, has anyone seen Piz?"
"Yeah, he was right over there... Three years ago... Huh. I never noticed he was missing."
It could be interesting seeing how Veronica's questionable ethics per investigating come into play in an FBI setting. Publicly chastised and covertly embraced, for example (given that the FBI has a history of shady ethics itself). Also, something blowing up in Veronica's face could have significantly larger consequences.
Heh. Veronica ends up in black ops.
I think my problem with the possibly new format is that Neptune was as much a character to me as any of the cast. So even the move to Hearst has been a little disappointing.
I'm sure I'd watch whatever they go with, if the show is renewed, but I also hate the idea that the network is dictating changes that the creators didn't have in mind.
Four years is not enough time to get Veronica in the FBI. They've got really strict recruitment standards, and they don't recruit right out of college. Usually you need (a) a graduate degree in something relevant (law, criminology, pathology, accounting) or (b) serious law-enforcement experience, to get in.
t / X-Files geekery
Which of course doesn't mean they'll pay attention to that.
I'm not sure what I think, except that I think fandom is crazy and I'm not going looking at any of the panicking fangirls. Although I may swing by FW, for yucks.

It\'s not unreasonable that Veronica could have a Masters in four more years of school.
I suppose it's possible, true. She'd have to spend more time actually doing classwork and less time solving cases, though.
