I kind of hate the FBI idea. Actually, there's no *kind of* there. And axing most of the rest of the cast? Not up for that, either.
I guess we'll have to see what happens.

Well, there'd still be Keith, right? I mean they can't *totally* get rid of her dad! (Well, ok 7th Heaven got rid of members of the family, but they're like a suck incompetent show, and a very bad example. Moving on.) And, they'd have to bring Logan back. They just would. Because I SAY SO! I mean, I have them as my DESKTOP!
Ok. Having a little (fictionalized, dramatic) breakdown. Walking away.
I'd love to see Veronica as a hard-boiled (adult) private eye -- and no longer an honors student with a preposterously time consuming hobby. I'd like to see them mine deep the classic noir genre. The FBI thing is interesting, but not my first or even second choice.
I could well imagine how much cow as the VM fandom in collective might be having right now. It may be a whole herd of heifers. I'm womanfully resisting hopping over to TWOP to see the carnage. I'm sure P-C will report back at some point with some type of summary. Fannish drama is best digested second-handly anyway.
I love the FBI idea.
Doesn't the FBI have a height requirement?
Meanwhile, the fandom resembles something Jack Bauer needs to disarm within the next 2 hours. Who are they working for?
Oh, Cindy. Choking back laughter.
Yeah, I'd like to see Keith, Weevil, Backup. I'd like to see Wallace and Mac but have them be more essential in any episodes that they are in.
Four years in the future is fine with me.
I'm all for a four year jump. It'll give Veroinica time to aggregate some new backstory to draw upon for new mysteries. I'm all for axing regulars, too. Incorporating existing secondary characters into new stories has always been outside the writers' skill set and as much as I love Wallace, I'd respect the writers more for cutting him loose that keeping him around doing nothing. The former would be annoying once, the latter is annoying every week.
Well, yeah -- only include them if they have a MEANINGFUL storyline for them. . . unlike this year.
