"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Mac and Bronson had me grinning from ear to ear (although it also had me wondering for a nano-second if there was any way Bronson could be the killer).

I had the same thought, Cindy. He better not be evil.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

No wonder Muhney was talking about trying to get roles on another show... (in his lj community, IIRC).

yeah, i wondered about that as well. i thought maybe he had some insider knowledge about a fourth season though. i never expected him to be killed off.

I was cracking up when Keith asked Veronica why there was a gun in the fridge and she kept coming up with puns.

I broke down and put a VM wallpaper on my desktop. I guess I'm really hooked now.

At one point, I wondered if Lamb would be killed off, but I figured it would be the final mystery, or something like that. Then, when I heard about Muhney up for other pilots, I just figured he was hedging his bets, in case VM didn't make it back, or that maybe he was not happy with how little screen time he got. I never expected him to die this soon. I was so surprised.

What's the wallpaper, vw?

ION, I cannot believe how upset the fandom is. I think MM is a peach, and I loved to hate Lamb. I think MM did a fine job with the role, but I also think it's courageous of Rob & company to kill off such a well-received character, played by such a popular actor, and the potential this opens up, storyline-wise is nearly limitless.

I think there was a lot of potential with Lamb's character by not killing him off. of course, most of it would be flashback-y and RT seems to want to move away from that, but whatever. i guess the opportunity is still there because with flashbacks it wouldn't matter if he was dead in present time.

i'm also annoyed that they just dropped the potential of giving Lamb some backstory. after the hint of abuse in Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner, i was expecting something. once again though...no emotional fallout.

I was just about to post something like this. He'd also be a good one to turn up and taunt Veronica in her dreams occasionally.

We'll just have to go ask the Eye of Botox for details.

I'm actually glad to see Lamb go. I get the whole actor is great and stuff, but I never liked the character. He grated on me, and not in a pleasurable way. And, I don't think he's that good looking.

There. I said it.

I think this, too. But since he is dead, I just see so many dynamics changing in Neptune. Will Veronica and Keith end up at odds? What will happen with Mars Investigations? Vonnie hit a lot of what I'm thinking about, in her LJ.

That's the show's fatal flaw -- it skimps on emotional resonance. Once season 2 ended, I really didn't think we'd get any more out of Lamb's story from NPBiaC, so I guess I already had that disappointment a while back.

These last two weeks, for me, have really made me feel like my show is back.

There. I said it.

Hee. You're adorable, vw.
