I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I think that if Logan had slept with Dick in Aspen, Veronica would have been just as upset and angry.

i'm not talking about blame for the current break-up. i'm talking about blame for her drugging and rape.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I don\'t think she blames Madison more than Dick. Last night, she was more angry about Madison because she slept with Logan.

are we watching the same show? in what way have we been shown this season that Veronica blames Dick at all for what happened to her? he was the most responsible for what happened because he's the one who broght the GHB to the party that subsequently ended up being given to Veronica and he's the one who pressured Beaver to rape her. she doesn't seem to have a problem whatsoever that he's Logan's new roomie.

Madison, on the other hand, didn't even have a clue that she was giving Veronica a drink that was drugged. she just intended to spit in her drink and silently gloat about the fact that she got one over on Veronica Mars.

I don\'t think writing \"SLUT\" on Veronica\'s car is silently gloating, but you make a good point about Dick. Veronica should have been as furious with Logan for having Dick as a roommate as she is about Madison sleeping with him.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Yes, this. She seems way too nonchalant about that and it bugs me. Almost as much as it bugs me that Logan's still living in a hotel. Dude--why didn't his CPA tell him to buy a friggin' condo or something?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I don't agree. Logan and Dick have been friends for a long time, Madison is someone he decided to have an intimate relationship with after he knew how Veronica felt about her.

Veronica didn't know for a year and a half that Madison was the one who had written that. i still call silently gloating.

She seems way too nonchalant about that and it bugs me.

i've pretty much learned from M.A.D. that this show is incapable of showing us emotional fallout. when i didn't see any kind of angst from Veronica over her newfound feelings for Logan after the hell he'd put her through i knew i was never going to see anything like it.

I don't agree. Logan and Dick have been friends for a long time, Madison is someone he decided to have an intimate relationship with after he knew how Veronica felt about her.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaand we've come full circle about my complaint. i still don't think the writers should have made it canon that Logan was aware of what Madison had "supposedly" done to Veronica. i say "supposedly" because even though Veronica blames her for drugging her, she had no idea that GHB was in the drink she gave V.

I don't think it's just the drugging though. I think it's that Madison is, was , has been hateful to Veronica. And I think that at least was known to Logan.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Even though I haven't seen last night's episode, I was worried about the info on the television guide combined with the misleading promo. Feministing has taken issue with the episode--which seem to me smacks of lazy writing in regards to the medical issues presented. I'll decide when I get around to watching it.

What is even happening?

tiggy, I meant to say earlier that I felt like you did (although I'm a little less frustrated by it, I think) about Logan knowing about Madison being the one to slip Veronica the BHG.

I think one of the comments he made to Veronica's voicemail about him being surprised that someone still thought he had good in him(can't remember exactly what he said right now because i was too busy last night being angry with him for being emo!Logan yet again) was extremely telling about what he thinks of himself.

Yes, I think it was telling, too. Actually, when he was leaving the voice mail was the only time I enjoyed watching the character on screen. I totally believe Logan would be broken hearted over both losing Veronica and knowing he hurt her in this particular way, but the rest of the emo made me yawn. I mean it was hardly different than Veronica's fake!emo, when she and Duncan staged their "break up" in Donut Run. Logan just needed the sad 70s and 80s songs (because sad songs say so much).

I don't think it's just the drugging though. I think it's that Madison is, was , has been hateful to Veronica. And I think that at least was known to Logan.
And this is another piece of the difference between Dick and Madison (although I also agree with your point that Dick and Logan have been friends forever, so it's different for Logan to continue that friendship than it is to start up a new relationship/hookup/whatever with Madison well after the fact).
