It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Kind of Meh, and agreed that Veronica/Logan is Too Soon. (Also, it's not believable how clueless Logan is about Piz. Veronica is a complete catch and Piz's crush is palpable. Oh yeah, and Logan has anger problems.)

But I'm posting to find out who the head of PHAT is; who was the actor/Hey Who's That Guy?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Landry outsmarting Keith. Oooh, burn! I do love a good potential antagonist.

But you had to know that Landry would know who Keith was! That high profile a murder in his own town?

Yeah, and Keith is no slouch -- I can't help thinking that Keith knew Landry would recognize him. I mean, come on -- "What's the craziest thing you've ever done for a woman?" That's so NOT Keith's M.O. It's clunky and obvious, and Keith would have Googled Landry, which would have turned up his profiling book.

I think Keith played Landry.

Me, too! I didn't think that they'd hook up imminently, but that it would be the point where Veronica started to catch on to how Piz would be a fun relationship.

Not just fun, though. I think a relationship with Piz could actually go the distance. Unless you mean it would actually be a fun relationship to be in, as opposed to a rollercoaster of pain.

Rollercoaster of FUN! As for whether or not a relationship with Piz could go the distance, well, they're college freshman, so I can't even think in those terms for them.

And I know that actor who played Bronson (honestly, Bronson? That poor kid with his cruel, cruel parents) from somewhere but damned if I remember from where.

Wasn't he on Invasion? And I think I've seen him elsewhere as well.

I really enjoyed tonight's episode, but I'm so sick of all the Veronica/Logan relationship drama that I hope Logan goes the way of Duncan, and soon (though I know that that's not likely to happen).

It's too bad Wallace wasn't in this ep though. The show kind of feels like Veronica can only hang out with one of her friends per episode.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

So knew Veronica's look when talking to Piz was about Logan.
Also suspected lab monkey boy as being the kidnapper pretty early on.

Me too. I think we watch too much TV.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I'm kind of ticked at Veronica for not turning in Monkey!Boy. Fine if he wants to ruin his own shot at a PhD, but taking his colleague along with him? Not cool. I don't care how cute the monkey is.

I didn't think Logan was clueless in that last scene. He placed Veronica's tray down in a very territorial way, and the last look on his face made it seem to me that he'd finally caught on. I think Veronica has, too. I knew she was thinking about Logan during her big discussion with Piz, the night before, though.

I wouldn't be tired of the roller coaster if we got the thrill of the ride. I'm tired of getting on the roller coaster right after the first hill, and being forced to exit at the top of the second. Like Amy, I was ready to dip a toe in a Piz/Veronica pairing.

Yeah, Keith assuming Landry wouldn't know him was ... kind of less smart than Keith is supposed to be, which is annoying. Which I just typed as assnoying. Huh. Could be a word I might use.

I love assnoying.

I felt Keith was totally off his game in that entire scene. It nearly had me watching from the hall. I like the fanwank I'm reading, about Keith being clunky on purpose. I shall take it to my bosom.

I was so glad to have the show back last night though, and really enjoyed the episode. I felt a weird (we watch too much TV) kind of guilt though, because it's not my big TV love any more. It's like when you have a boyfriend, but you feel a mutual attraction with new cute boy, and it's not even that you don't like the boyfriend any more, it's just that you can't stop thinking about the other boy. The Office is my total other boy.

I'm glad Veronica didn't turn in the boy for rescuing the monkey.

I LOVE Mac's new boy. Hope he doesn't turn out to be evil. I liked Parker last night. I loved Canada -- that's the sort of thing my roommate and I would have done.

Lucky is my early guess in the who killed O'Dell sweepstakes. It's probably not him, but his big, overly dramatic, staged scene at the frat in episode 9 didn't fit with the rest of that episode. I sort of don't think Landry killed O'Dell. I would think if Mrs. O'Dell killed O'Dell, she'd be willing to give up the insurance money to escape a murder conviction, but crime makes you stupid.

Where's Wallace?

How does Veronica turning him in or not affect the colleague? Do you mean because they need to start over with a new monkey? If Veronica turned him in, would they still be able to use the same monkey? I'd think that having it outside the lab for a week might taint it in some way.

Oh, and I forgot..."Ed Argent" cracked me up. I wonder if they tried to get Ted Nugent, or if he's just too crazy to bother with.

I did expect Mac to have some more knowledge on animal rights activism. Her mother said she was a 'freakball vegan' in season 1. She went on a pizza-eating tour of town with Cassidy in season 2, so unless Neptune is overrun with places that make vegan pizza, I'm willing to handwave her veganism to vegetarianism, and assume her mother doesn't understand the difference, but still...

Finally, and unrelatedly, the, "Because monkeys are delicious," made my husband choke.

I assume the old monkey is tainted, too. Still, turning him in gets the colleague a measure of justice. She just had some period of her professional life stolen from her. It also removes any suspicion that she may nave been negligent in allowing the monkey to be stolen. Finally, it removes a guy who doesn't belong in the lab from the lab. Who's to say he won't fall in love with the next monkey, too?

I think it would be out of character for Veronica to care about the integrity of the lab. Veronica has been consistently portrayed as an animal lover, and she's a marshmallow, in general.

She would probably want boy!scientist to pay if he'd taken the monkey in order to ruin his collegues academic standing. I wouldn't have bought her turning him in once she found out he was a big bowl of mush that couldn't bear to kill his friend, the monkey.
