I can imagine something to do with a Kane secret, one of Keith's cases, or even something we don't know about her yet.
Season 3 of VM is available on itunes.
I don't know if it's a nationwide sale or not (there's no mention of it on their website) but my girlfriend picked up Season 1 today for $24 (after tax) at Circuit City.
Fun new VM promo - much better than former CW promos for VM.
GF and I are watching season 1 on DVD, as she only started watching the show halfway through last season.
I'd forgotten how totally awesome season 1 was. There's just so many little character moments that just sing.
One thing, we just finished watching "Return of the Kane" and I don't seem to recall the aired version actually having the belt-cracking sounds and Lynn sitting on the couch in the next room. I swear it originally just changed scenes after Aaron closed the door on the room, or am I smoking crack?
Definitely crack.
Yep, crack. That scene is burnt into my mind.
Huh. Because it so took me by suprise when I watched it last night.
Unrelated, Troy's story arc still bugs. Even knowing what's going to happen, there's absolutely no clue that he's anything more than earnest until "You Think You Know Somebody." It feels like the writers suddenly decided "Veronica's too happy. We have to make her miserable again!"
I was amused to spot Dick starting in the 2nd episode (if he was in the pilot, I missed him) though he doesn't get named until "Return of the Kane."
I also didn't realize that Lilly (well, Duncan's hallucination of Lilly, anyway) is the person to call Duncan "Donut". I had always thought it was just a fandom thing.
I had a dream last night that I was having an earnest discussion with Buffy (yeah, *that* Buffy) about how Logan-the-character had passed his apex of cuteitude.
In real-life, I don't think that he has, so I don't know what prompted that dream discussion.
