Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

'Touched'

Veronica Mars: Annoy, Tiny Blonde One. Annoy Like the Wind.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

Polaroid Swinger

Huh. This puts James Garner and Mariette Hartley's relationship in a whole new light.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

So the one thing I didn't understand was what the deal with the bomb threat was, other than to show how lazy the Sherrif's Dept is. Were we supposed to infer one of the characters called it in to try to somehow stop the rape?

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Veronica called it in, because she thought the police couldn't ignore it (Surprise!) whereas she's had bad experiences reporting rape to the cops before.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Yeah, I think Veronica called it in, since she knew how well the Sheriff's office would deal with a rape call.

Eta: X-Post!

Ah. I apparently missed when she actually made the call.

It was off-screen as far as I can tell.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Could someone explain the 10 dollar beer cup to me. Does it afford you unlimited access to the keg? How do frats turn a profit on that?

Well, I know some states have tricksy liquor laws. You can't sell alcohol without a license. If you sell someone a $10 cup and they're allowed free beer, you get around that law. Now you just need to make sure minors aren't buying the cups so you don't get busted for contributing to the deliquency.

Um...not that I've been there, done that.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It was off-screen as far as I can tell.

Yeah, and it was confirmed when Keith lambasted Sacks for not taking action. I don't think we needed to see a passport scene of Veronica dialing a phone.

Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention to the dorm/house names but as it played out in the episode, it just seemed like a really wierd aside.

What is even happening?

We're guessing Veronica called it in, from what Keith said, down at the sheriff's office. We weren't shown, right?
