What is even happening?

Whee! Time to resurrect my old tag from the graveyard: Fanwanking since 1998. Ragewanking since 2004.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Wow. Can I touch your hair?

What is even happening?

Oh, it's too bad they missed the original e-mail request was totally tongue-in-cheek. I can see how that happened though, considering I did end up getting it, and did then did the whole, "I'll totally mail him," deal. I totally didn't, however (and wouldn't).

To you guys, is there a difference between fanwanking (in the fandom wank sense of it word) and ranting? Personally, I like it a good rant. It clears the senses. Fandom wank to me always seems like it should involve nasty fighting between fans.

What is even happening?

You may touch my hair, and because it's you, I'll also let you kiss my ring.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, that was fun. Not least of all because I got to read stuff about Muhney. I need to back away, real fast.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Wot about Muhney?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Though seriously I have to ask, what's the big squicky deal about Michael Muhney being so squickly involved in the fandom?

I wasn't nearly as squicked as they were. Jeez, talk about a dogpile. The guy USES THE INTERNET. So g-ross! He will most certainly have lasting psychological damage and have sex with underage girls! @@ ∞

What is even happening?

I think it might have been his reaction to the fan fic posted here: [link]

I haven't read the fic, and only skimmed Muhney's post in that entry in the rack of lamb community, so I don't know if he said anything to prompt the dogpile, or if it was just a typical fandomwank comm dogpile.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I liked this bit:

Aw, come on, I kinda love The Ongoing Saga of Michael Muhney's Adventures on Teh Intrawebs. It's so insane and hilarious. He's like the fandom mascot.
