Now tagless for your comfort.

The bastardy reviewer in our local paper mentions VM this morning. She was writing about shows that get cancelled early, mentioned that VM was one show she didn't want to see cancelled. But then she went on to pull a full suggestion that people NOT miss the series based on her two early tapes of the first two episodes. She said, "Watch it if you have the time." I was this close to sending her an email. But then I'd have crossed over into the craxy and nobody likes that.

Hey Narrator, here's another URL to try, for the VM s3 premiere: [link] . It's an MSN link that takes you directly to the player loaded with the VM episode. Good luck.

The evil is this way?

I have seen the new ep. Oh my. *** Hated the new music over the credits. The new credit pictures were OK but they need to get back to the earlier music.

The begining of the ep. dragged a bit. I saw someone blamed the director but I wonder if it's more the editor on this. Dunno.

Riley Piz. New potential boyfriend is a good idea. Hate the hair.

Logan. Liked the bit with the purse. Total boyfriend that he knew what she had in it (taser). Still, he's way too self-destructive. Although maybe his growing up will come from helping Dick.

Mac. Love Mac. Sad she's still dealing with so much.

I realize they wanted Veronica-Keith moments but I would have liked to see her on on-campus. Especially if she ends up with Mac as a roommate. But I'm missing my "Buffy".

Liked how they showed how badly Dick was dealing with things. It was true to his charater that he lashed out at Mac. I didn't like it but I'd be more worried he'd be a psycho if he lost the nastiness.

I pretty much saw most of the developments, including that Vinnie planted a bug. But I didn't see Cormac as the shooter.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why did Vinnie plant a bug if Keith had the shooter with him the whole time?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Perhaps Keith's fear was correct, Vinnie is working for Liam. Tracking Keith was one way Liam might hope to find Kendall, especially if Liam knew about Cormac's early release.

The evil is this way?

What dcp said *** Vinnie was tracking Keith in order to find Kendall. I'm not sure if it was for Liam or not, but it seems to be the case. ***

What is even happening?

Still, dcp and Narrator, ita's point remains, because clearly, Kendall was expecting Cormac, and Cormac was expecting to be picked up and brought to Kendall. They must have communicated, because Cormac seemed to know the circumstances of Liam and Kendall's falling out. That Vinnie/spy-pen plot point was weird. I hope it becomes more clear over time.

Narrator, I totally had the Riley thought, and the missing my Buffy thought. Maybe it was the editor. I don't know. I just hope the first section of the show didn't bore all the potential new viewers from GG away from the show.

The evil is this way?

Topic!Cindy *** As to the Vinnie pen thing, I do wonder if it's intended to be Keith's salvation -- Vinnie may be nearby. Or maybe it was just to give Keith a reason to be looking for his gun when he went back into the house.

Why Cormac didn't kill Keith first, I don't know. He's a bigger threat than Kendall was. ***

What is even happening?

I don't understand why Keith would even go running back into the house, or why Cormac wouldn't wait 'til Keith left to shoot Kendall. It's all so crazy. It seems the spy-pen is what made Keith realize he had to run back in, and he was shouting, "Kendall," so...um...yeah. Confused. That said, I do think the spy pen may be Keith's salvation. Vinnie to the rescue. That, I've got to see.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I like the idea that the spy-pen will turn out to be Keith's salvation.

It seems the spy-pen is what made Keith realize he had to run back in, and he was shouting, "Kendall,"

My take was that when Keith found the spy-pen he realized that they had been followed and were in danger, so he went for the gun in the glove box. The gun wasn't there, and Keith realized that Cormac must have taken it while Keith was napping during the wait for the tow truck. Keith realized that Cormac took the gun because he wanted all the money, not just a share. Perhaps Keith didn't think that Cormac would kill him and Kendall -- he hadn't done so at the earliest opportunity, after all -- or perhaps he just didn't think beyond "Aaaaagh!" Kendall was still his client. Either way, he went running back to the house.

As to why Cormac didn't kill Keith earlier, perhaps Keith never told Cormac exactly where Kendall was hiding out, and Cormac waited to do any shooting until he had actual possession of the money bag.
