After sleeping on 3.1, I've decided that although I like the character of Piz, I HATEHATEHATE the name. Who takes a nickname so close to the word piss? I think it makes him inaccessible as a potential love interest for...well...anyone. And that's the sum of my second thoughts.
Thanks, Cindy! If I have time, I'll watch it tonight!
Next week.
Thank goodness. Too busy to watch anything tonight (I still have Heroes sitting on my DVR as it is) and I don't wanna watch it online. (Wanna be comfy on my couch so I can enjoy it.)
Fela made an interesting point that Veronica has been in the vicinity of two of the rapes/shaves. Wonder if that will end up being significant.
Dick looked seriously beat to crap at Logan's door. I'm betting his 'mess up' had to do with pledging the problem frat. Stupid Dick. Stupid but not malicious, I don't think. I can see him as a date rapist Hey man, a ruffie just loosens 'em up!"...but not likely to draw attention to, or defile someone by shaving her head.
And the problem with Dick will surely cause mucho tension between L&V because they simply are not allowed to stay un-broken up, eh?
I was confused by the Cormac gushes about, then causes Kendall to gush blood. Fela very pointedly said, "But...we didn't see a body, now did we?" I can't see that as being a dodge. Why would they pretend to kill Kendall when she and Cormac were going to skip town anyway ?
I think Charisma just didn't want to appear on screen bullet-ridden.
Beej, you didn't think that Dickhead's comments to Mac weren't malicious? I pretty much think he's malicious. And on top of that a selfish, sleezy asshole but mostly just mean. I think that sometimes, it's just the alcohol, but other times, he doesn't open his mouth without trying to inflict the most amount of emotional damage.
And on top of that a selfish, sleezy asshole
This I totally agree with...but I still don't think malice is his primary motivator. Would I weep if he got hit by a truck? Prolly not, but I don't think his asshattery is on the same level as Cassidy's vengence/insanity.
I knew this guy is college. Big on the basketball team. Boozy, wannabe womanizer. Even looked a bit like Dickhead. Unlike Dick, however, everyone hated this guy. Meaner than a junkyard dog...moreso, because he had the cognitive awareness of the impact of his behavior.
One night, I accidentally (honestly) ingested something I should not have at a party. Got sicker than I'd ever been before. Spinning, puking, etc. I woke up in the middle of the night to find this guy standing over me. He says,"You are soo fucked up."
I just closed my eyes figuring 'this is it, I'm a goner.' He picked me up and I knew I was about to be raped. I was so sick, I couldn't even think about defending myself.
He carried me to the bathroom, held my head while I puked, washed me up and then put me back to bed. He came three more times in the night, picking me up...repeat. The next morning, I woke up to find him watching me sleep. I just stared at him, uncomprehending.
He said, "Don't ever tell anyone about this because they won't believe you." And walked out of my room.
From that moment on, he continued to be the meanest, most unlikeable guy I'd ever met. Way up in the top 5 of my lifetime.
This is sort of how I see Dick.
His malice to Mac had a lot less to do with his nature, I think, than just how fucked up he feels about Cassidy. Not that that justifies anything he said, even in a weird way, but I can see it as a senseless lash.
Mostly, I think he's just dumb and selfish.
Topic!Cindy -- I tried the link, but no joy. All I got was One Tree Hill promos.
