It doesn't sound like the antidepressants because the counselor says "Have you had another episode?" and he says "I only stopped the anti depressants. I'm still taking the old stand bys."

Those are for his Type IV epilepsy (also known as Type IV Fake Disorder), which causes violent fits.
Type IV Fake Disorder because it's fake for the show or fake in the show?
Fake for the show. Although an actual form of epilepsy -- right?
I have finished Season 1!! Although I did race through it, but I couldn't help myself. And now I'm sitting here in a post VMglut feeling overstuffed but S2 is sitting there taunting me like yummy chocolate pie after a really huge meal. I did watch the first episode of Season 2, I didn't realize the bus crash happened at the end of the episode. (And I do not like the baseball owner running for mayor, partly because I think Steve Guttenburg is smarmy but mostly because the character feels smarmy. Ick).
My briefish thoughts on Season 1-- I did not like Logan at first. couldn't see the appeal beyond the fact he's kinda cute and a wanna be bad boy. And there was the fact that his Dad beats him which adds to the woobie factor. But then the season went on and Logan became a complicated, interesting character and a lot of it is the actor. I don't think I've seen him in anything but he's really good and puts a lot into the character.
I like Veronica as well, she's flawed. Sometimes it bugged me the way she was constantly asking for favors, esp favors from Wallace and just expecting people to do stuff, but then she showed Wallace her stuff on Lilly's murder and that was huge, because I don't think she realizes how much she sort of takes from people without giving too much of herself back.
Actually most of the characters are complicated and interesting. The writing is good. The finale was great with Veronica locked in the box and her dad (who really is her Dad!) nearly dies saving her. All very good stuff.
However, I'm going to wait a bit before I start watching the season 2 before I totally burn out.
One question about S2 Ep1. Veronica opens the door and says "I hoped it would be you" (or something like that) and then says "Logan?" in a rather surprised way. Is that supposed to mean that she thought Logan was someone else or she saw that he was beat up and it was a reaction to that?
The latter.
the Cow. the short. the succinct.
I read it as the former, personally.
ETA: Oh, and if I'm wrong by the word of Rob or something, I still prefer to read it as the former. Yeah, she was dating Logan or planning to be or something, but I still think she wanted Duncan to be at the door.
You are indeed wrong by the word of Rob, unfortunately. I think she wanted Duncan to be at the door too.
Eh. Screw Rob. My interpretation is better.
Signed,
Likes the idea of Duncan, even if I wish he had been written AND acted etter
