Astrid.

Art Crawl!!!

Am I misremembering -- she's also Duncan's half-sister, right?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Veronica thought she was. She thought Astrid was the Prom Baby and that Celeste was the mother. As far as we know, Astrid has no relation to the Kanes other than working for Celeste.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

just had my question answered about Amanda Seyfried and the wig. apparently they did that so she matched the stand-in. she and Kristen didn't film that scene together.

huh.

Did we ever figure out why Woody paid that one bus family off? Really just becuase of something in their food at his restaurant?

Was I the only one who thought Logan was going to pull a Giles/Gunn, and follow up his "you're not a killer" with a "but I am" and shoot Cassidy?

I was afraid he would. But glad for the suicide bit, because it was the one very in-character moment of that whole crazy psychotic roof bit.

I felt sick when I thought Keith was dead. But I was full of admiration for the sheer balls of it.

This is why I was just a *tiny* bit peeved/felt cheap when he wasn't dead. Because I was so impressed with the ballsiness (while going "NOOOO!!!!"), and thinkign "OMG, that will totally throw Veronica next year, she'll be without some moral compass!"

Also: Fitzpatricks- total fucking red herring or what?

Nah, not if they're all up in next year's mystery...

It felt like a Joss thing – help “graduate” Veronica but stripping away her last “protector”

Oooh, THIS.

I have an idealized vision of the future where Weevil, having escaped the murder rap, becomes a priest who devotes himself to social justice and plots with Father Fitzpatrick to save underpriviledged children

But...but....the sexy! What about the sexy! I mean, in a way, more sexy when it's all "priest and can't have any" (cause saying "He should be an Episcopal priest!" just doesn't have the same ring to it), but...but....

Loved the dream, and dream-Lilly getting with the boyfriend's exgf. Hee.

I also loved that Veronica got cheered by her friends and didn't get booed by anyone else. It was as close to a Class Protector moment as was possible in this verse.

Heh. You don't figure some people would've been cheering that she was leaving the school? :)

Most graduations the only folks there not leaving the school are the teachers and younger siblings of those graduating. Though some of the teachers might have been cheering, I suppose.

If I only had a brain...

Duncan probably doesn't have chlamydia -- remember Veronica indignantly telling the doctor, "We were totally safe!"

The evil is this way?

Is it Season 3 yet?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Initial reaction to this ep:

Want some bleak with your bleak?(yeah, I know, noir. Still...)

I'm in the not-crazy-about-Cassidy-turning-out-to-be-an-ultra-psycho-murderer-rapist camp. Fucked up, sure. But this eeeevil mastermind stuff? Not so much.

(And yet, I liked Duncan hiring CW to kill Aaron. Go fig.)

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

UI couldn't wait to watch, so I watched my episode a work today.

Beaver... I can't quite believe it, but I was unsuprised because of everyone's spec, so it was not as big a shock as, say, Buffy dying in the Gift (I was so sure it would be Spike). I sort of wish it was more "fucked up" Beaver a ;a "My name is cassidy" than evil mastermind Beaver.

And thinking about what Woody's abuse did to beaver makes me think even better of Logan, phuically abused by Aaron, not being violent with Beaver.

I would rahter SEE logan's growth than be presented with one already grown, though.

Also, the graudating class of 2006 just made me feel old. I am closer in age to keith and Aaron, I think !
