The pieta scene bothered me, as did the Season 1 one. Veronica and Logan don’t work for me perpendicularly.
It was kind of funny. It was funny to me, because I thought Logan was positioned really uncomfortably on Veronica, in the season 1 finale. I attributed that at the time to his injuries, and the fact that JD is so much bigger than KB. This time? Veronica was positioned just an uncomfortably, which I dug for both the symmetry, and the stupidity, all rolled up into one.
i've been away for a few hours. so this is a catch-up post.
But it still doesn't explain why Meg's parents put up a reward to get Woody back.
my guess is they put up the reward because they believed Woody had crashed the bus and they wanted justice for their daughter's killer.
Also, Mac broke my heart. Did he just take all her clothes/the sheets/the towels while she was in the shower? Or did he also rape her?
I don't think he raped her. i think they did have intercourse, but he couldn't keep it up and when she got out of the shower and found all of her clothes, cell phone and the bedding gone she assumed he had set her up.
tiggy, if you're still up, John Krazinski (sp? Jim/The Office) is going to be on Leno, any moment.
I wasn't up, but someone had it available for me to *ahem*. i will be watching when i get home.
Was I the only one who thought Logan was going to pull a Giles/Gunn, and follow up his "you're not a killer" with a "but I am" and shoot Cassidy?
no, i was totally afraid of that. i think his year of dealing with johnny law prevented him from doing it though.
Dude, how long did *Cassidy* have chlamydia???
well...you have to remember that the rape happened when Veronica was 16 or so. that would've made Beaver about 14. knowing what we know about chlamydia it's possible that he had no idea he was infected. i also buy V not going to the doctor after being so humiliated when she went to the authorities to report the rape.
Also, correct me if I'm misremembering, but "the clap" is gonorrhea, not chlamydia, right? Keith called it the clap.
there's been much discussion about this in my comm. the dialogue lead most to people to the conclusion that Keith was saying Woody had the clap and chlamydia.
now i must get back to work. i really just want to play online and discuss VM all day. *sigh*
Folks, am I the only one thinking this...but did Duncan hire Kendall to make sure his father was in the hotel room?
I'm also wondering if Duncan was working with Kendall to make sure Echolls wasn't imprisoned because Duncan wanted him dead. That might explain the alone time Duncan and Kendall had EARLY in the season...

I dunno. All she really did for Aaron was obtain the hair samples. If she'd been unwilling, I'm sure Aaron would have found another way to incriminate Duncan. Also, she didn't do that until Aaron proposed the scheme to her.
If Duncan had been working with Kendall, I would imagine that she would have proposed the deal to Aaron and she wouldn't have had to go skulking around any old showers.

Except Duncan had gone on the lam (as opposed to on the Lamb, like Madison) by that point, hadn't he? Cindy made a supposition upthread that Kendall was working with Clarence Weidman, which would just stem from working with Duncan. *shrugs* I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that way, though I would find it strange that Kendall would be such a willing accomplice to murder, at least from what we know of her now (who knows what other ulterior motive she might have vis-a-vis Aaron).
Also, does anyone think Duncan and (particularly) CW would deal with someone who would turn around and try to blackmail them in a Neptune minute?
but did Duncan hire Kendall to make sure his father was in the hotel room?
Do you mean Logan? Duncan had Aaron killed, but it's Duncan/Jake, Logan/Aaron. Kendall had dealings with both (& at least three of the four for that matter), so I'm not sure if you meant to say Logan or just moshed up the dads.

Didn't Duncan deal with her in the flight to Mexico episode? Didn't she play the recording on a phone in Big Bear that led the FBI there instead of Mexico? I was heavily drugged back then, but that's how I remember it.
sorry, it should read..."did Duncan hire Kendall to make sure Echolls was in the hotel room?"
