I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm thinking Woody, upon hearing the "presents" thing, might have put a bomb on his own car to further divert suspicion about his involvement in the bus crash

Yeah, that was my take.

The evil is this way?

I agree that Woody -- or someone -- planted the bomb under Woody's car to make it look like Lucky did it.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Well, private money can support private investigators and private counsel, right?

Did we learn nothing from the Claus von Bulow case?

If Beaver is the main suspect (which I figure he really is at this point), how would he have gotten access to explosives and detonators, and what reason would he have had to frame Terrence Cook?

What is even happening?

He might not have framed Terrence, so much as that Terrence's own problems made him a likely suspect. Once Terrence was a suspect, maybe then Beaver planted the explosives. Terrence was under suspicion before, though.

I don't know where Cassidy would have obtained the explosives. The only explanations I can think of that don't feel like fanwank, are:

  • At the time of the crash, money wasn't an issue for Casablancas boys

  • Just because Lucky was in the V.A. hospital on the day of the crash, doesn't mean Beaver didn't get the explosives from him, before

I can't imagine Beaver going to Kendall about this, or using her Fitzpatrick connections.

Fanwanky:
I know that Hart was making a war movie with his friends, when his camera accidentally caught Lynn Echolls' dive off the bridge. I don't know how realistic Hart's movie was, or anything about Hart, but I suspect I'm trying to over connect, here.

Not so Fanwanky:
I'm thinking Hart was in this week's episode, because he either taped Woody's house for Beaver, or hooked Beaver up with equipment, or was an unwitting source of video information for Beaver.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I have no idea how Rob Thomas is going to be able to wrap all of this up in a single episode.

My latest fear is that he won't, and we'll get a big fat "To be continued" season finale. Given the rumblings about VM getting or not getting picked up by CW, that could doubly suck.

Goes to a "How's Annie!" place; hugs self tightly.

Seriously, I refuse to consider the possibility the show will not be renewed because... I say so! And in Vonnieverse, the world clearly revolves around my wishes.

t sticks head into the sand

So, what will happen with the whole Aaron mess in the finale? He 1) turns out to have engineered the bush crash, 2) commits another crime--attempted murder on Veronica, Keith or Logan, or actually killing a non-series regular--and is carted off to jail, again, 3) gets involved in some altercation or another, possibly related to the bus crash, and someone (say Kendall or Liam Fp) shoots him dead, 4) sneers at everyone and remains uninvolved, ready to torment Veronica the viewers for yet another season.

Personally, I'm rooting for 3).

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

My latest fear is that he won't, and we'll get a big fat "To be continued" season finale

He won't do that. He'll certainly wrap up the bus crash mystery, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are still some loose ends from other other *cough* spy pen *cough* plotlines hanging around.
