"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Damn good episode. My only fear is that Aaron Echols will be behind everything this season too, which I would hate. It seemed to have that look from the preview, but that is probably just the UPN promo department.

Who was the guy from the beginning, by Beaver's car?

Because books.

Okay, thoughts.

I was worried about Veronica sending the emails to her father, since they would show up in any "sent" directory on Woody's computer, but Keith took care of that by giving it away.

Mac is too wonderful for words. After the way Cassidy treated her, to save his ass? Love her.

Also, Weevil saying, "I'll kill you. Or myself. At this point it's a toss-up," was beautiful. And the whoo hoo on the algebra test, while we know the sheriff will be coming nay minute broke my heart.

Don't the new medical privacy laws preclude them giving away a witness's medical history in open court? And Keith finding out about that way was awful.

Isn't there a police incident report on Aaron's attack of Veronica? Why was Aaron's lawyer acting as if the whole thing was simply hearsay? Plus, the "he said, she said" of Veronica "propositioning" him is ridiculous -- I know it's supposed to create doubt, but since the defendant was admittedly already involved with a teenager, wouldn't it make the jury doubt that claim? (Although, I guess, clearly not. Damn it.)

The painting of the catcher's mask is now incredibly creepy, and I loved realizing they had Gia sitting in front of it during the study session.

I was initially kind of disappointed that Woody does seem to be a child molester, because it now seems obvious (you know, with 20-20 hindsight), but it also makes it seem less likely (to me, at least) that he will turn out to be responsible for the crash, because that's just too easy.

Hated the fact that Aaron was found not guilty, because it also seemed too easy in a way (especially since it allows him be walking around free for the finale), and also because, given the evidence, I think most juries would have found him guilty. Or maybe I'm just that naive. I don't know.

I don't know what to think abut the crash now. Who would stand to benefit from keeping those kids from outing Woody?

My only fear is that Aaron Echols will be behind everything this season too, which I would hate.

Me. Too. So much so.

It's going to be a looooong week.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Who was the guy from the beginning, by Beaver's car?

That was Hart, in an tiny but awesome continuity throwaway, who was the kid that was making the war movie that showed Lynn jumping off the bridge in "Mars vs. Mars." He had a bit of a growth spurt, I see.

it was Mars vs Mars, wasn't it? i had a mini marathon yesterday afternoon. watched MvsM, the L/V parts of Kanes and Abel's and Ruskie Business. amusing that they used a guest star from one of the eps that i decided to watch.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I'm fascinated by what wasn't in this episode: Kendall and the Fitzpatricks.

Art Crawl!!!

Ooh, very true.

And there was so much of everything else -- it was very easy to overlook.

The bit with Weevil getting his algebra grade while the sheriff prepares to arrest him was heartbreaking.

Except -- this is where he'll implicate the Fitzgeralds, isn't it?

Hmm. I really didn't love this episode. I mean, it was OK, but...for so near the end?? Also, the whole Aaron thing just seems so last season--I mean, I love continuity and all, but I kinda wanted that to just be all wrapped up last year--or have continued EARLIER this year, or something.

But I love Mac, Beaver, and Weevil, all three of them.

And yeah, I fail to see how Veronica's injuries would be explained away by her dad and Aaron fighting upon Keith discovering them together...

Also, too much Jackie. I was kinda hoping she'd bite it...

Art Crawl!!!

I was thinking that having the trial about a year after the arrest was pretty realistic.
