I thought it was the owner of the dog's little brother who clearly was a young PCHer getting beatup by the Fitzgeralds.
But he didn't want Veronica to tell Harry it was Liam Fitzpatricks who killed the dog, as he feared for his brother's life. Why would he help lead her to the car?

I can't picture any of the suspects taking out all the innocent bystanders and then going around acting normal ever since. By that measure it has to be Aaron Echolls, the Fitzpatricks, or possibly Kendall
I can totally see Woody doing this. He's an amoral creep who's rotten to the core.
What about Big Dick? Could have have been a bus crash perp? Could he know more about Kendall than we think? He went to the trouble of signing a pre-nup. He's filthy rich. I think there would have been a half-assed investigation into her past that would have uncovered her name change simply because the actual Kendall Lacey Shifflet was dead.
Motive? Maybe he was anti-incorporation for financial reasons.
oh, I know that- but who gave her the tip where to find it? There was some sort of IM action going (while Keith was telling her all about the Kendall/Pricilla discovery), with talk of Paypal-ing the reward money but we never found out who that was.
I wonder if Molly Fitz did it, with a vengeance motive, because they killed her lovah. It was at her (great) grandmother's house, after all.

Hm, Big Dick working with Kendall rather than dupe is interesting, also. Or thinking he was working with her (more than we know he was, I mean) while being a dupe on a grander scale.
What about Big Dick?
I've been curious about him, but it's gonna to be a stretch to pin this on someone who we haven't seen since Ep 2x03. I'm actually hoping to see him at the finale, especially if Beaver or Kendall turns out to be involved in the bus crash.
Big Dick always seemed so cheerful. it would bum me out if he was kill-a-bunch-of-kids evil, rather than just steal-investors-money evil.

If this were the case, I think he'd be her dupe in the long con. Of course, he could have been playing her, at the same time. I read some interesting (unspoiled) speculation on MarsInvestigations.net, today. I think a good chunk of it is off, but the premise is that Big Dick is working through Cassidy--advising him on the land deal, and is behind the effort to shame Woody, and other efforts to sink the incorporation. Little Dick could have been the unwitting connection between Lucky and Big Dick. Lucky is glad to screw over the Woodman, for whatever reason.
