Not Kendall and Logan, Aaron Echolls and Lily.

Oh thank you, Kalshane. That makes much more sense. I don't know how I got Echolls and Casablancas from Echolls and Kane. Sheesh. I need to take the brain in for a tune up.
It's okay.
Also gives me a chance to mention how much I loved Cliff suggesting Sex Ed class when the slimy lawyer dude started pestering Veronica about whether she knew what intercourse looked like.
Yes, me too. Cliff was absolutely loveable. I totally wanted to clock the deposing attorney. I should have watched a second time. I sat there, waiting for there to be something going on--a Casablancas divorce, or something, then I thought maybe Logan was charging Kendall with statutory rape (which would have been to laugh and laugh) or that Keith and Veronica were gong to try to get her investigated for it, just to trip her up, since V started asking Logan about their sex life. Then nothing else made that scene fit, for the rest of the episode.
Do we know if Kendall was definitely looking for Duncan's hair, or could she have been looking for Logan's (or either). If they were planting it on something of Aaron's, it might make better sense that they were trying to set up Logan.
I would think she was looking for Duncan's hair specifically. In the sleezoid TV program, Aaron was blaming the murder on Duncan. Plus, the Kanes themselves thought Duncan had done it until Veronica found the tapes. And the whole kidnapping thing raises questions about his character among the public.
ETA: I have no idea what the logic behind placing Aaron's Oscar (and it surprises me he had one. Judging by the titles they gave the movies he supposedly starred in, I was of the impression he was a cheesy action hero.) as a the "murder weapon" was. Or how they managed to get Lilly's blood on it.
Aaron has an Oscar? A People's Choice Award I could see. But not an Oscar. I can't believe it wouldn't have been mentioned by several people already if he has one. Also, wouldn't someone have noticed that it was missing before now?
In "M.A.D." you can actually see his awards on the shelves when Veronica and Logan enter to make out. He has three Oscars.
Actually, if Aaron used an Oscar to kill Lilly and then hid it in the storage locker, he's won FOUR.
What storage locker? I feel like I should recall the reference, but I can't quite bring it up.
When Cliff's briefcase was stolen, he mentioned that in it were the keys to the Echolls storage locker.
