Oh my gods, yes. And they've been pretty anvilicious about it the past few episodes.
Veronica Mars: Annoy, Tiny Blonde One. Annoy Like the Wind.

That's exactly why it's not going to be true.
I've really never gotten the "Dick is gay" vibe that everyone seems to be latching onto.
I don't get it from the character, either, but they've certainly gone out of their way to establish some evidence: 1) there's one gay student who will likely not reveal his or her identity to VM; 2) Casey's decision to set Dick up with a transvestite and strange threat afterwards; and 3) Dick's hyper-horndog persona and relative disinterest in losing Madison (not that this says too much, really).
Anyway, I think it's a red herring.
I think Mac is gay.
Delurking to say that I'm waiting for Wallace to accidentally out Dick while investigating something completely different.
Okay, whatthehell - in the promo, when Veronica makes a hand gesture while saying "shocker" is she in fact trying to throw the shocker?
Maybe it'll all become clear in the fullness of the episode.
eta link NSFW.
it's more clear in the episode. (they actually show more of it in the cold open on the UPN site.)
In the promo, it looks like she's doing it wrong, which is kind of dumb, but I imagine it's intentional since S&P must surely recognize the Shocker now. Oh, Jason Dohring and your wacky censor-fooling antics.
Okay, I was never really on the Mac and Beaver train, and now the boy is officially on my shitlist. You don't hurt Mac like that.
Oh, yeah, and some other stuff happened too.
All in all, I enjoyed the episode. Not as much as last week's, but it was still really good. I loved Weevil appealing to Veronica's curiousity in the beginning.
Woody is definitely up to no good (as if this was a surprise). I'm not sure why he planted a "stalker tape" in the mail, but it's pretty obvious he did it.
And we know for sure who killed Felix (theoretically) not that he lasted long beyond the revelation.
And how could Beaver do that to Mac, damn it?
