Cliff is growing on me, and you get that Keith is fond of him, too.
Didn't the teaser for last week have Logan saying "I think I just did something terrible"? Because I didn't see it in the episode.
That was the cliffhanger for last week's episode. Which they didn't literally follow up on this week, but it's implied that he was talking about the whole "using Hannah has leverage to get her dad to drop the charges" thing.
I think Cliff is a tribute to Dan Fielding. Or a riff on Dan Fielding.
Fieldingesque, he seems to me.

I think that was a poor choice. I think it wasted the tension. It's sort of like the "Who's at the door," cliff hanger at the end of season one. I think it would be a mistake to go all Logan and Veronica forever, but when it's all set up, and no satisfaction, it might as well not be used. People learn. If people are tuning in to get the conclusion to the tense cliff hanger, and everything happened off screen, and is only alluded to at best, after a while, they're not going to care about the cliff hangers, because they'll learn nothing comes of them.
Oh, yeah, I wasn't a big fan of the way they did that either, but, bygones.

Indeed. I have Night Court on DVD and was surprised in rewatching just how crude and lewd Dan was in that series. Good times.
