seriously. longest. previouslies. EVER!!!
Yep. Seems like they would have done it last week when they returned from the long hiatus (minus the stuff from last week, of course.) I thought more would happen this week, especially after the heavy duty previouslies. Maybe they figured since all the big developments were taking in the secondary and tertiary storylines -- Logan and Terrence Cook/the bus crash (2nd & 3rd being purely descriptive, w/ no judgment as to which is more important), as well as the Aaron/Kendall/Beav story which I see as 2a to Logan's 2 -- that an understated previouslies would leave a lot of confused watchers. The nominal main storyline was pretty weak, though I do get a huge kick out of Vinnie. That said, I think he made more of an impact in "Donut Run" (the Logan kidnaps his kid ep) with less face time, or what seemed like less face time. Cliff McCormack rarely disappoints, too. Loved his reading of "Nobody likes you." Even after seeing the commercial a dozen times it didn't get old. Now get that man a drink; he isn't picky about what he's drinking.
My TiFaux quit recording 47 minutes in. What happened in the last ten minutes?
Ne'mind. Tiggy already answered my question.
What was happening when it quit? (Short-term memory problems, but if you remind me I'm sure it will come back.)
Oh, thanks joe. See my edit. Also, whitefont:
V had just climbed onto the band bus and seen the sister with old boyfriend Nick and they went to commercial.
Cool. Thinking back, I think a lot of it slipped my mind because I didn't really care about the A story so the denouement (which mostly pertained to the main plot) didn't make much of an impression.
VM is moving to Tuesdays beginning April 11.
I assume they're putting it on at the same time, which effectively makes Tuesday a GG/VM night. So it could be an...experiment.
ixnay on the itefont-way.
About that "on the fence" article (the first one linked) - FUCK YOU CW. Already, fuck you. I can't believe (well, I can believe it, it just makes me nauseous) that Supernatural and VM are on the fence so that they can flog such dead fish as Aquaman (the fugliest superhero guest star ever to be on Smallville), Palm Springs, "a mystery soap from Kevin Williamson" (didn't they try this already with the show 'starring' Tag from Friends?), She Said, He Said "an ensemble romantic comedy in the Men Are from Mars mode: a guy, a girl and their different worldviews. Nick Lachey is in talks for the male lead" (kill me now, please). ANTM, Beauty and the Geek I expected, even though I loathe both of them with the burning hatred of a thousand fiery suns, but killing VM and Supernatural for that shite? Don't even go there. May the internets unleash a thousand stuffed pit bulls and toy Impalas on your heads for even thinking it.
the fugliest superhero guest star ever to be on Smallville
To be fair, they're recasting the role.
Well, moving it to Tuesday lightens the jamup of shows at 9 on Wed for me, but if its going to be at 9 its opposite House. As Tuesday is dance practice night for me, the VCRs are still gonna get a workout.
