I don't know about that, but according to the weekly TV schedule from the Sunday Globe, UPN 38 aren't having their usual Saturday night 10pm reshow. I don't know if they are re-broadcasting at all - I need to check the UPN 38 site.
Is the hiatus supposed to affect this week's episode (whoever might know more)?
eta According to the UPN 38 listings, it will be on Sunday at 5pm instead. Whew! Just like their old Buffy re-airings, when Saturday got frelled.
the only news we have is the UPN site showing repeats for the next three weeks(episodes 6, 7 and 8) and Wrongda saying she spoke with UPN execs who told her that they were putting the show on a temporary hiatus. we know nothing else at this point. speculation is that it's because of poor ratings due to the awful lead-in, the incredibly competitive timeslot and now the olympics. not to mention that in doing so, when the show comes back they can air it back to back until the finale.
personally, i think it sucks and i'm not a happy bunny.

Is that starting this week, or after this week's episode?

Right there with you. I also have to stifle the urge to storm the UPN offices and say, "YOU REALIZE THE RATINGS SUCK BECAUSE IT HASN'T BEEN AIRING IN ALL MARKETS BECAUSE OF PREEMPTIONS? RIGHT? RIGHT?"
Fortunately, I'm broke and lazy, so the stifling isn't all that taxing other than on my nerves.
no new ep this week.
Feh. I was hoping we'd at least get this week.
t gloom-n-doom
I have never seen an unscheduled hiatus be anything but the harbinger bring of the first evil of a show's death.

Well, that and putting an acclaimed but low-rated quirky show up against a wildly successful quirky show probably didn't help either.
I think it should be in reruns until the Olympics are over. The Olympics are killing everything except "Grey's Anatomy."
For anyone interested (*cough*P-C*cough*) Kristen Bell is on the cover of March's Maxim.
I'm not sure about the pictures inside yet, but the cover photo is horribly air-brushed.

And then March Madness will start, and VM will be brought back, except it will be preempted again.

March Madness is on CBS and ESPN, not UPN.
