Well, quite a lot of fuss. If I didn't know better, I'd think we were dangerous.

Tonight's episode was fantastic. I loved ubersnarky Veronica, and the Mac & Beaver pairing. I wanted much more Wallace, though.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

t points to new tag

t giggles again

Anyway, any episode with Mac and the Former (and sneaky) Vice Principle (memfauly actual name), Madison in all her bitchy glory AND the evil teacher extrodinaire getting her comeuppance is A-OK with me. And, hey, look, they're at school, sort of.

Nice Jackie and Veronica parallels.

Also, god, Keith can break my heart 12 ways before breakfast. His scenes with Baseball Hero guy were awesome. Loved it when he lost one of the few bit of non-cynicisms he has left in his life.

Logan, I think is much more than "grey" pursuing the very sweet and young daughter of a mysterious nemisis. I think the plan is to hurt her, or to make the dad think he will. That storyline was SO confusing till the end, I'm all, Logan is no sweet puppy! What the- OHHHHH. I get it now.

Wondering: when Dick was about to pummell Beaver he said something like, "before you hit me, remember Sally?" and Dick just walked away.

Logan: "If only you could spit out the memories." Heh.

Also, dagnabit, they showed scenes from the episode they JUST SHOWED FER CRYING OUT LOUD as the scenes for next week's episode. Way to show that you've just been drinking heavily since the WB/UPN merger news came out, UPN dudes.

Did anyone get the actual scenes from next week or was that a universal UPN fuck up?

In Chapel Hill, NC, we got this week's scenes instead of next week's, too.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

It took me 'till this morning to remember who the gir's father was, so of course I scurried here to confirm.

Also, WHEE continuity! The show remembers things I don't.

I found that teacher completely unbearable, in an "OMG we get it she's MEAN" way.

But Veronica's "And for my next trick!" bit was awesome.

Nora - nice tag! Hee.

Art Crawl!!!

Okay, the promo for next week is up at the UPN site.

Well, a lot of jobs are going to be cut, and The WB is much better at creating promos than UPN.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

And it was especially stupid since the promo was all "To prove her innocence, Veronica will..." and we just watched the episode where Veronica was never really a suspect.

LOVED this episode. Was feeling kinda down on this season (all "man, the second season is never any good, what HAPPENED?") until last week and this week were both pretty good. I love the continuity! And the recurring characters! So much! Logan was so creepy, just spot-on, and the Veronica/Weevil bit at the end made me a tiny bit of a 'shipper. And Mac/Beav!! So adorable!

My only issue was as smonster said--the teacher was a little over the top. We GET it, she's MEAN. Calling Jackie trash to her face is bad enough, but doing it in front of a crowd of people crosses the line to "Um, did you take your CRAZY PILLS today, lady?"

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Finally got a chance to watch my recording. Chiming in with the love of the episode. And it's two episodes in a row where I actually liked Jackie, which I thought was impossible. Poor Keith. The man's going to have nothing left to believe in. The Logan storyline also had me wondering what he was up to until the end.

Great to see Mac again though I wish we saw more of her. Still not thrilled with the Beaver-relationship angle, though this episode made me much more receptive. Have no idea what the Sally thing he was talking about was, though. Maybe another time Dick managed to embarass himself. I loved that Logan was simply amused by the whole thing.
