Was the actor who played the border patrol cop (the one who was on the phone with Lamb) the same actor who occasionally plays the teacher who breaks up fights between Weevil and Logan?
No, but he's the same actor who played a customs agent in YTYKS. The teacher who breaks up fights was the computer science teacher. The credits have now given him a name: Coach Preppernau.
The one I'm talking about was not the one who played the Computer Science teacher in this week's episode.

Just saw Lamb (Michael Muhney, is it?) on an episode of Charmed yesterday when I was flipping channels. He's much cuter on VM.
It's very hard for me to get past the Lamb and see the cuteness of MM, which I figure means he's very good in his role.

It was Curly Moran. We didn't see it happen before, but we heard about it. (It was when Weevil lost his earring.)

Weevil got an anonymous phone call saying that the Fitzpatricks had hired Curly to crash the bus, in order to get back at Cervando, who'd been bragging about hustling some money from one of the Fitzpatricks. Weevil then went to the garage and beat up Curly, and lost an earring there. Lamb found the earring and thought it was Veronica's and questioned her about it, and then she realized that it was Weevil's and got the story from him.

unrelated, but has anyone heard when the finale is slated to air? i read an article that said april 19th or some such and thought that was odd. since when does a year long show end before may sweeps?
Once in a while, if a show's ratings aren't that good, a network burns off the episodes during a non-sweeps period, supposedly to "save" the show. I think Angel might have done this one season. I think Joan of Arcadia did this in its second season.
