Ooh. Interesting idea, Nora. That would explain why Woody wanted Keith to win the election so much.
why do you think Cervando killed Felix, P-C? why would Thumper be covering for him? well...besides the fact that he's dead. why would he have been covering before Cervando died though? were they just in it together, ya think?
I've called Cervando as the murderer since we first learned he existed, and it's been mostly for meta reasons. He's described as the PCHer with a heart of gold, so it would be a reversal for him to turn out to be the killer. More importantly, he's already dead, and, if ATTTD is any indication, it's totally Rob's M.O. to give someone a quest for revenge and then leave them with no way to exact that revenge. In addition, the intel that Cervando wasn't on the bridge at the time of Felix's murder comes during the part of Thumper's tale that can't be corroborated by anyone else.
Basically, I don't have anything to
prove
it, but so far, nothing has disproved it outright. And I don't know why Thumper's covering; it's possible he's not so much covering as just knowing that Lamb's going to believe the first person who tells him anything, since that's the easiest way to do it.
Or Cervando and Thumper were secret lovers.
I liked this episode better than "Donut Run," that's for sure. And I actually didn't hate Jackie! That shocked the hell out of me.
Though I'm waiting for follow-through on why Wallace's mom was all psycho about Wallace not knowing his dad, who really seemed to come through on the hit-and-run White Castle witness.

I was shocked, too. I'm not sure I like it. I don't really want to like Jackie.

I'm not so sure. I mean, after all, here's this decorated cop, telling his kid he told him to keep quiet. Why would he not have taken his son to his own superiors?
Well, Wallace's mom explained it way back when as him falling "too deep" into his undercover work. Keeping drugs in the house, coming home high, etc. She feared for her and Wallace's life and ran away.
It looks like he's seriously cleaned up his act in the meantime, but the "keep your mouth shut" bit is troublesome.
Yeah, I definitely liked this one (which I just finished watching) better than last week's (if for no other reason than that the arc was developed along with the A plot) but there are definitely a number of things I'm still waiting to see what happens before I feel good...
Though this DOES prove my feeling on Weevil being the kindest least criminal gang leader EVAH is true.
Weevil's like a more believable Fonz, especially before he became schtick...

And now that he's all beat up, kicked out, his bike got tooked, and he's a bald, tattooed man, riding the school bus?
TOTAL WOOBIE!
Absolutely!
I'm such a sucker for the woobie.

TOTAL WOOBIE!
Oh, that was what got me. He's on the school bus! I cringed for him. And then I wanted to hug and pet him. And, you know, other stuff.
Like pack him a puddin' in his lunchbox?
