Man, the only things I liked about this episode were:

(1) Logan and Weevil, for lo, they are pretty and look good together;

(2) Keith, because he kicks so much ass as a dad;

(3) Charisma Carpenter HOTT;

(4) Baby cute;

(5) Logan asking Dick, "You're not a complex guy, are you?"

But honestly. Everything that others have said about the WTF? of an 18-year-old very very VERY rich white boy *not* getting custody of his kid -- YES YES YES. Weak plot, yo. I've gotten used to SO much better from VM. That's why I watch the show -- for the tight plotting. But this one? Made no sense from start to finish.

Also, enough with the 007 shit from Veronica. A lot of her Nancy Drew-ing I have no trouble believing, but the complex scheme to get the baby out of the country? I *don't* believe an 18-year-old girl can come up with a plan that complex and convoluted. I just don't.

In conclusion, Logan -N- Weevil 4EVAH!!!1!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Speaking of Dick, I know of no one who actually purchased DOA Beach Volleyball, (though I'm sure it sold well enough) but I can totally believe he would.

One of the (many) minor things I like about the show is the fact the characters play real video games rather than having random sound effects and/or have characters talk about playing specific games while holding the controllers for the wrong system for said games. It's a stupid nitpickey detail, but where medical, legal or baby details take folks knowledgable in those fields out of the scene/episode, incorrect video game representation does the same for me.

Which could be a very sad commentary on my life. (And I don't even play that many games these days.)

I had that same annoyance when Illyria and (memfault) play Crash Bandicoot on Spike's XBOX. Until someone pointed out to me that Crash was available on XBOX. Of course it's still only a one-person game.

Wish I had time to play video games too...

Now tagless for your comfort.

Speaking of Dick, I know of no one who actually purchased DOA Beach Volleyball

I almost bought it used. Then reconsidered.

Drogan. I loved that scene, but I had the "It's a Playstation game!" thought, too and then found out it was also on X-Box.

The Spike playing Donkey Kong scene was funny too, but I just can't believe Spike or Lindsey would have the know-how or inclination to hack an X-Box so it could run a Nintendo emulator.

I almost bought it used. Then reconsidered.

From what I've read, it's actually a pretty good volleyball game, despite the over-the-top fanservice factor. (Though to not to the degree of the DOA fighthing games which are actually really good games with over-the-top fanservice tacked on.)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Kalshane, I am so with you on that. I love that we can actually identify what games they're playing. Even when there's only, like, a one-second shot of a cutscene from Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath.

There was a scene in Dead Like Me where a character was obviously playing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and the sound effects were bleeps and bloops like he was playing Atari or something. Really annoyed me.

Our wings are not tired.

Teppy already said what I thought about the episode.

The other part that I thought was fun was the promise of a very pissed off Lamb.

I'm hoping that there are things not so obvious that play into the big picture on the season arc.

Art Crawl!!!

Lamb was lots of fun this episode -- and I hope will remain pissed off at Veronica for a good long time.

I anticipate another "random" locker search.

"Let's see here, Veronica. What? Five pounds of heroin? This is a little awkward."

Oh, speaking of Lamb, I thought of one other thing I liked about the episode. It's the part where he gets all frustrated with Veronica and tells her that he should have just arrested her and Duncan when he busted them at the Mannings' house, and then he wouldn't have to deal with Celeste Kane freaking out over the kidnapping/Duncan's disappearance.

I think that really captures Lamb's fundamental character, right there. He knows what the right thing to do is, and when push comes to shove he does it, but mostly he just doesn't want to deal with anything complicated.

I did, actually, like how that one interaction really summed up who Lamb is.
