Hmmmm, I assume this is post-trial for Lilly's murderer, and I can't quite see Logan maintaining his social standing among the 09-ers after that. Plus, for Logan and Veronica to be back together in the first episode of the season with all the crazy things that went down between them last season would feel a bit like cheating. I'm actually hoping it'd be Duncan.

tiggy, it doesn't, and that's why I said pretty much and presumably. Also, I'm not sure they shot those 3 minutes deliberately ambiguous knowing that they'd be web-clipped a month before the premiere, but who knows, maybe that shot it that way because they like to fuck with our heads. And maybe that's why we love the show.
I don't think Logan's gonna have too much difficulty maintaining his standing as long as he still has the money. I can't wait to see how his daddy's public arrest and imprisonment affects Logan's psyche. For that matter, I hope we see more of Aaron too because he just got interesting.
well...i don't think they shot those three minutes deliberately because they thought they might be shown on the web. i just think that RT is going to drag out the whole "who's at the door" thing as long as he can in the first ep. we'll probably get piece by piece via flashbacks.
then again, maybe they did shoot it that way deliberately because they knew it would be on UPN's site. that isn't something new. we were getting three minute clips from last season eps too. some of them were spliced though and not technically the first three minutes of the ep. this could be the case here too.

He said it'll be answered right at the beginning of the episode.
not in the first three minutes(if that is, indeed, the actual first three minutes).
Which they may not be. They've used non-first minutes before.
If it wasn't the first three, it was among the first five. Of course, 5 seconds later she may run into said boyfriend and mystery (possibly) solved.
Yeah, the intro clip for Dentist (I think it was Dentist), though it included many of the scenes as the first five minutes, cut some stuff out to increase the cohesion of the clip (and save some time). I definitely wouldn't past RT to let them release an edited version of the clip to maintain the anxiety or whatever (why do people care about the door so much anyway, that's what I don't get, but whatev...)

Which is exactly what they've done before -- shown the second scene of the ep in the online preview.
