I think Chardo was probably arrested for credit card fraud and sent to jail, actually, since his being 18 (so Weevil could get out with Juvie, but he couldn't) was mentioned as the main reason Grandma let him take the fall. I always assumed that after they beat him, they called the cops and let them pick up the pieces.

Oh, grr--someone asked a question I'd've liked to know the answer to (asking if Logan (or anyone else) ever found out why Duncan broke up with Veronica in the first place) and he answered with ....why Duncan broke up with her.
