Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

Did everyone know about this?

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Did everyone know about this?

Yep, and as I loved the Alamo when I saw "Slam" and "Slam Nation" there (I was in Texas for a poetry festival) I'm majorly jealous of anyone who can go!

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Really? Although they are edited somewhat, I've never found the editing to change them into something different from what aired the next week. I've never felt misled.

maybe not mislead, but it's obvious to me when watching that the scenes don't flow as they will in the actual aired episode.

Did everyone know about this?

yep. we'd been trying to keep it quiet to keep out the riff raff, but then Herc posted about it today. getting tickets is going to be...interesting.

Well, Laura was asking if they were misleading and you said to take them with a grain of salt. Yeah, the UPN website scene is edited but... who cares so long as they're not misleading?

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Hey All. Rarely get to post here, 'cuz I'm always watching on tape delay, but am caught up now. Nothing really to add about this week's ep, it's all been said, and very articulately, by others.

Out of curiousity - Did we ever find out what Duncan gave Veronica for her B-day? She seemed so 'whelmed at the time, that I can't believe I would forget if we were told - but I got nothin'. Anybody?

actually, she asked if we were always given so much "content" from the ep, not if it was misleading. i was just pointing out that they are usually very deliberate about what they reveal and what they don't.

no, but i think we're supposed to eventually.

The Alamo Drafthouse is indeed awesome, and I hope Victor will take the time to meet me for a beer next time he's in town.

Pure speculation: the member of Veronica's circle who dies next week is Wallace's mom, which brings him back to town to ask Veronica to figure out how she died. This will be somehow tied in with the bus crash by the end of the season.

Actually, she said both. Quoting Laura: "Do they generally answer so much or do they mislead and take out of context. Not that I can see where it can be anything but straightforward. Huh."

So let's just say we're both right!

Our wings are not tired.

I appreciate the info on the promos. I'm just going to think that they are a teaser that doesn't give the whole picture.

Corwood! Such an evil idea.
