Hmmm, so how long is the alternative ending?
That was a very fun episode. I will admit to thinking at the beginning when Veronica was talking to Mary that Mary had probably said "friend" not "fiend" -- because who says fiend in that context?
Loved the Logan - Weevil fight/agreement and Cassidy's plan and the Cassidy/Mac sparkage.
Good god, the HSQ in this show just never lets up, does it? I'm still reeling. I think my favorite subplot was Van Clemmons's scheme. Excellent smug smile on his face at the end.
Cassidy is also becoming a favorite, although Mac was a little too squee-ish in her interaction with him. Tone it down, girl. You're much snarkier than that usually.
Favorite Logan line: "Rode Hard, meet Put Up Wet." Loved the snarking between CC and AH. Although the Weevil/Logan bathroom fight was right up there.
And Meg pregnant? True out-loud gasp here. She's way far along, too, like seven or eight months. How long has she been in the coma, in show time? Also, was that supposed to be the first time she'd opened her eyes, or is she not necessarily in a coma? (That can't be true, though -- the hospital wouldn't secret her away. Without, like, Kane money, or something.)
Can anyone spoil the alternate ending for me? My speakers aren't working for one, and I need some kind of plug-in to get it anyway, which isn't working for me (the perpetually tech challenged).
Well, how do we know that Meg's family doesn't have riches? She is an '09er.
I watched it -- the video was a bit jerky but did
Meg's mom come in and smother her with a pillow
? And then
Veronica comes out and takes the pillow off Meg's face and gets caught by a nurse
?
How in the world do they reconcile both endings?
Oh. Wow. That's...wow. Thanks, sumi. I don't which one I'd vote for, to tell you the truth.
Also, I know Meg's an '09er, but to convince a hospital to "hide" a patient would take a lot of money, I think. And based on Meg's house, I don't think they have Kane-type money. I could be wrong, though.
Where do I find this alternate ending?
Also, could somebody whitefont the highlights of the REAL ending? I was watching, but not paying as much attention as I should've been (I will... acquire... the episode for a later rewatch tomorrow, but am curious now).
Hated the alternate ending. Also annoyed with having to sit through 8 minutes of nothing noticibly different just to get to it. Then again, I've been pretty unhappy with what they've been doing with Meg as a whole this season, so it could be my bias talking.
I loved the Logan/Weevil smackdown and the fact that Weevil actually had the brains to tell Logan they're basically on the same side now.
Not sure how I feel about Beaver and Mac yet. So far he's done nothing but make me pity him. Maybe his little scheme (which feels to me like he's going to intentionally blow up in Kendall's face.) will change that. I just don't see why Mac would be all a flutter about him, literally.
It's taking forever for me to download. Grrrrr.
Also, I loved that there was an actual explanation for Trina coming over, snarking with Kendall and then leaving without doing anything else. I hate it when people show up with no explanation, deliver their lines and then leave. I'm left wondering for days why they showed up in that scene.
The Logan/Weevil scene was FANTASTIC. They'd be antagonistic *and* working together, which is just the best scenario ever. Also, those two have chemistry like whoa.
Wasn't it?
how far along did Meg look mommy-type people?
Further along than UltrasoundFreakoutScully, not as far along as MoronicaWhaleSongsWhileBirthingScully?
TV pregnancy fails to meet up with reality, I fear. It looked more like a 6-7 month belly than the Ginormous Bloat of near-term, but that's reality-land talking.
You know, I'd intended to say something about how Weevil + Logan = Best. Enemy. Slash. since Angel/Lindsey, but I think I went to my happy place right after "Wasn't it?"
Mac was adorkable. As was Beaver.
