I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Aren't the Kanes Democrats? I seem to remember Jake and Celeste expressing some distate about having to invite the Governator to the party for S1 finale.

I think I remember Mrs. Kane asking, "Honey? When did we become Republicans?" rather sadly.

Still, even if the parents are Democrats, that doesn't necessarilly mean their son will follow in their footsteps. Duncan seems to kick against doing some of what they want him to do (running for student office, getting a summer internship, dumping Veronica).

Our wings are not tired.

Still, even if the parents are Democrats, that doesn't necessarilly mean their son will follow in their footsteps.

Ain't that the truth. My poor mother suffers so over my brother's Republican ways despite her fine training and example.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I love how CC's character is so incredibly skanky, with like, no redeeming characteristics.

I can think of two.

Oh... her character.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Finally watched the episode.

This show is so fucking good. So SO fucking good.

It's odd -- last season, I was really irritated by Logan's prickishness; this season, I adore it. I am so fickle.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

This show is so fucking good. So SO fucking good.

Sometimes I am baffled by how good it is, honestly.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I wonder if the bus was sabotaged...but that the person who paid for the job (let's say the mayor) didn't want anyone killed (except maybe the bus driver). I wonder if the ex-stunt man rigged the bus at the wrong time and then he was killed for it.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I'd certainly say that Curly seemed uipset when Veronica encountered him at the memorial.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I think he rigged the bus not expecting it to fail at the worst possible moment, then was so upset that he was going to spill the beans on whoever paid him.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I can't see any reason for Curly to have her name written on his hand except for wanting to remember her name (that's why I write things on my hands, though nsm huge letters on the palm)-- perhaps he intended to tell her.
