Dawn: I thought you were adequate. Giles: And the accolades keep pouring in. I'd best take my leave before my head swells any larger. Good night.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

They have Omarosa as a correspondent, interviewing Jonathan, who was apparently quite an asshole on TAR. (I didn't watch.)

I think my TV might be turning into a black hole of evil.

Now there's a dunk tank.

I'm hoping that they play "Simon Says." That was always my favorite event from the original Battles.

I mute the TV whenever He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named (tm TWoP forums) starts flapping his yap. It is amusing to see how much he's annoying the other participants, though. (And his wife/doormat, Victoria, is surprisingly athletic.)

Oh, my god, the guy doing the play-by-play is the guy who did the play-by-play for American Gladiators.

Not that I used to watch it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think you've been trapped in the crap TV event horizon longer than half an hour, Dana.

Um.

I think I left my excuse in my other pants. Along with my dignity.

You know what are expensive? Inoculations for Kenya.

You know what's odd? Being told "Don't eat the ice or fresh vegetables -- stick to hot, cooked foods -- you're from Jamaica. You know this!"

WTF? Do you think I grew up without ice and fruits (I did try to pass at the fresh veggies, I admit)?

Cross-posting with Bitches:

erinaceous was consulted in a New Yorker Talk of the Town bit: [link]

(The bit with her is near the end.)

(Oh, and the word's not on dictionary.com anymore. Wonder if they read the article?)

(But the word does get 121 hits on Google.)

Er... well, maybe they were thinking that when you moved somewhere else they told you that?

No, I got nothing. Sorry.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart
