Skipping (surprised?) to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is a double Buffista event, with the birthdays of both Lilty Cash and dw. Lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year for the both of them!
Also, since I may not be in front of a computer tomorrow, which will be Emmett's birthday, lots of early wishes for him, as well.
And you know if
ita
says it's time to go to the doctor, it's time to go to the doctor. I'm going to vote for scratched cornea, but it's worth a look, anyway.
Happy Birthday Lilty and dw!
Also, that panda is the cutest thing ever. I exclaimed "Panda!" quite loudly in my office when I opened that picture.
Is it all the time, tommyrot?
Is it all the time, tommyrot?
Yeah. It's more noticable when I'm staring at text on a computer monitor (which I do all day) but it's been pretty constant.
Talked to my best friend this morning. They're in Houston. They're not leaving. Well, he's not leaving, and his wife is panicked.
They are actually just inside the NW corner of the Loop, so they're now on the leeside of the storm track.
His stepson is zealously boarding up windows. I could hear him hammering while on the phone.
Happy Birthdays, Lilty and dw!
Hippo birdies to dw and Lilty (wherever she is these days).
My vision in my left eye has been kinda blurry recently. But not the usual blurriness - it's like there's this wavy pattern superimposed over my field of vision.
Is it kind of sparkly, like the spots you see after someone takes a picture with a flash* or you look at a bright light? If so, it could be a silent (i.e. painless) migraine, which I get every now and then. Although mine only last for an hour or two, never for several days, so it's probably not the same thing after all. Still, doesn't hurt to toss out the possibility.
*What IS the word I'm looking for? Afterimage? Doesn't seem quite right...
In other news, did anyone watch
Invasion
last night? I kind of liked it. Kari Matchet! And I can't figure out who the guy who plays the sheriff is, but I think he's an actor I like.
