Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was all "No you can't!" before I realised you totally can.

Before 4:15. I surely will.

It's 4:18 by my computer. Have you called in sick yet?

I called in sick (at 4:17).

I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I have a question from the article Plei linked to:

the end of the sixties when the Pill suddenly stood accused--wrongly--of causing blood clots, strokes, and heart attacks.

I thought risks of blood clots/strokes/heart attacks were still applicable. Is the risk just not as high as they originally thought 40 years ago?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY.

I hope you're happy, too. I hope you're proud how you would grovel in submission, to feed your own ambition....

Sorry. It's in the CD player.

Jilli gets it.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oh, that reminds me, Jilli, do you know anything about The Corpse Bride? They had a preview for it at Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Looks rather interesting.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

If you have a preexisting condition that puts you at risk for blood clots (as I do), it's recommended that you use only low-estrogen pills, and most gynos will make you sign a waiver saying "I have read about the risk of blood clot, and I still really don't want to get pregnant."

The risk is much much lower than it was in the 60's/70's because the hormone levels in BC pills have gone down drastically.

I'd never heard of strokes/heart attacks being related to BC pills before this article.

I had, but only once. Again, due to the higher level of hormones that used to be in the pills. I was on Ortho-Novum 1/35s. There was a 1/70 my OB/GYN told me about and they took it off the market because it was causing strokes. IIRC.
