I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Now the IT department is bickering about backups, or something. Jesus.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Happy Birthday, Sophia!!!!

Watching House when you have a killer headache is not a good idea. I went from "I must have a tumor" to "It's a blot clot" to "Oh my God, I'm going to have a stroke" in the space of the hour.

That's exactly why I can't watch it. (Or, in other words, I EAT HAM!!!!)

Now tagless for your comfort.

Happy Birthday, Sophia!

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

When I opened my eyes this morning, it felt like Friday. Then I realized it was only Wednesday, and made the sound of ultimate suffering.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I like calling him Almanzo

I read a thing! I can't remember where! Turns out "Almanzo" was pronounced with a short "a" so the middle syllable was "man". Which makes the nickname "Manly" make so much more sense.

Still no explaination as to why he ran out of Buffy and Joyce, however.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Gen Y, who are not Gen X's children (hello to the word "generation"!), are to be blamed for Britney and the boybands.

Hey, now!

Ok, yeah, that's fair.

But it's not like everyone from the Boomers on haven't had boybands in one way or other.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Still no explaination as to why he ran out of Buffy and Joyce, however.

There's never enough Buffy to go around -- ask Spike and Angel.

How was Almanzo pronounced on the Prairie? I can't hear a pronunciation in my head without the short "a."

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy Birthday, Sophia!

I admit I like House more for the characters and dialogue than for the plots. For me, the plots are mostly devices for to develop the characters and to give them something to snark about. So as long as the conversations remain interesting and I can ignore Cameron I'm not going to care much about the formula.

Plus, they had Italian motorcycles at the end of last night's episode! It totally ignited my semi-latent bike oost. Seeing that made me several kinds of happy, one or two of which weren't even hormonally based.

On the TV show they pronounced it Al-mon-zo. So instead of "man" it was, well, "mon".

It's like somone was trying to make him Jamaican. Or FAKE Jamaican... the writers could be from the same island as Kendra.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I've managed to watch Prison Break (what is it about a cute guy that's obsessed, but not with a chick?).

Oh, good, I'm not the only one still watching. I think I am little bit in love with WM. He is my fall TV boyfriend.
