I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

AD was GREAT last night. And my mom, who I don't think ever watched it, asked afterward when it's on and what channel. It took me several episodes before I fully committed to that show.

Is anyone still watching Prison Break? Anyone? Last week's episode (I only watched it Sunday) was so good it hooked me for a few more, though now that they've started doing law stuff, I find myself suspending disbelief with everyone who knows something about diabetes, prison, engineering and tattoos.

What's a "p**s"? All I can think of in a brewery is a putsch.

I'm guessing it's "piss." But putsch makes me laugh more.

What is even happening?

Brit piss, a Primer:

A piss up: Going out and getting drunk.

Taking the piss: Joking, teasing, busting someone's balls

I can't even.

A piss up: Going out and getting drunk.

The Brit equivalent of "unable to organize a two-car funeral on a one-way street". Doubt the shrubites could handle that either.

They'd probably just contract it out to Halliburton for a couple mil.

In other news:

I'm not the man they think I am at home...

ARGH.

Oh, and also, I'm not sure "Love Shack" is really the universal crowd-pleaser wedding DJs think it is. I mean, it's fun, but it's a bit played, don't you think? I find "Sweet Home Alabama" to be a better choice (though I know that technically? more played).

Which means it's now replaced "Rocket Man" in my head. Less annoying, but more likely to make me break out the air guitar while at work, so I'd really like to get rid of it. Meanwhile, either one is better than what I had stuck in my head while flying to Michigan, which was "Rednecks". Blurting that one out would be bad in all kinds of ways.

ETA: You know, I can and will have a conversation with myself if no one joins me. I have no shame.

No, neither is Old Time Rock and Roll, nor Celebration.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

neither is Old Time Rock and Roll

Hush your mouth.
