I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Wow -- this one looks like it couldn't possibly be real, b/c it's so gorgeous: [link]

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I was just going to comment on that one -- the sunlight is so gorgeous. [Wait, no, I was going to comment on this one. But they're all fairly spectacular.]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kenya was quite breathtaking. Those lake pictures aren't that far from Nairobi -- it's startling to realise what's all around.

I didn't see any lions, sadly. We only saw herbivores, but many of them. 6 days is way better than not going at all, but too short to set aside time to properly do game parks (we saw wild animals by the sides of the road, and only visited one park) and see places and people too.

What is even happening?

ita, things are good. How was your trip? How are you? Welcome back.

"Taken for granite"

Was it in Riley fan fic? Actually, we're finishing up BtVS S4, and I'm rather fond of Captain Cardboard this time around. I think it was season 5 when he really went pear shaped, though. I do love Angel's appearance in The Yoko Factor, though.

Tow the line and free reign don't bother me much, because although I know toe the line and free rein are the correct versions, the mistakes a bit of sense. Towing a line (that is, rope), and free reign (rule) are possibilities.

Taken for granite is cracking me up.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Welcome home, ita. I haven't looked at the pictures yet, but I bet they are wonderful.

Oh, the falls are so beautiful, too. And I love the name Lake Elementaita.
