Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kenya was quite breathtaking. Those lake pictures aren't that far from Nairobi -- it's startling to realise what's all around.

I didn't see any lions, sadly. We only saw herbivores, but many of them. 6 days is way better than not going at all, but too short to set aside time to properly do game parks (we saw wild animals by the sides of the road, and only visited one park) and see places and people too.
