Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Insurance says they haven't gotten notification from my school yet that I'm enrolled. Dumb. So I finally went and paid out-of-pocket, but there was a gap.

That kind of thing makes me so angry -- there are so many chronic conditions where a gap could put you in the hospital.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Cindy, BWAHAHAHAHAHA! (It's even funnier when you consider the episode of Charlie & Lola in which Lola sings that tune but with different words).

I had to pay $6/day for parking but my employer did pay me my full pay while I was on duty. I think I'd love jury duty--provided they'd put me on a damn jury--which the probably never will.

lots of ~ma for Emily.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My cat used to get concerned when I took a shower - he'd stand outside the shower and meow. Nowadays when I take a bath he appears fascinated by the water, but not to the extent of jumping into the tub.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

My cat used to get concerned when I took a shower -

"Dude! What are you doing? THERE'S WATER IN THERE!!!!"

Devi's fallen into the tub a couple times. She's fine (provided she doesn't splash herself in the face) until she is no longer in the water. Then she realizes she is Wet. She then tries to run away from the Wet. Which, you know, doesn't really work that well.

Ah, walnut brains.

I think it's mostly sleep dep and I guess being off my ADs for a couple days. I just feel so pathetic!

Aw, it's not pathetic. Right now, I'm desperately trying to figure out how I'm going to make it until 6pm without a nap. I'm impressed with myself that I made it out of bed and went to work this morning.

I can't even.

If someone would pay me for one of my hobbies, I'd tone down whatever they wanted.

Yep. He used to be the best rant site in the gaming world, but he got laid off from his computing job, and Mythic hired him to do programming for their customer support setup. I have no complaints about what went down (except for missing his daily sarcastic dish), but the "sellout" thing was a long-running joke.

Because books.

the episode of Charlie & Lola in which Lola sings that tune but with different words

I love Charlie and Lola. But I have to watch it by myself because it doesn't float Sara's boat yet.

Now tagless for your comfort.

But I have to watch it by myself because it doesn't float Sara's boat yet.

Owen is fascinated by the giggling in the opening credits. He smiles and sways to the music but that's all he cares for. I record it obsessively so I can watch it, anyway.
