Okay. Calling in sick has been achieved. What's next?

I only have one nice dress that fits me, and it's what I wore in my mom's wedding -- I kind of think it may be too sparkly to wear to someone else's wedding. Is it okay if I wear my long black-with-white-dots skirt and one of my work tops (like, the sleeveless cowl-neck shell)?

4:45?

I feel like I'm melting. And not in a good way.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Can you pack both things for the wedding? I like being able to get people's opinion on the spot. But from over here, either thing sounds fine.

Have you eaten?

Have some tea, something to eat, and just lie down for a bit.

Coding and Sleeping

Maybe play a bit on the Xbox to take your mind off things for a bit.

Cindy, S and I *loved* the tinfoil hat song link.

A Turkish Van, the only breed of cat that likes to swim and play in water.

Hmm.... I've known far too many cats who were not Turkish Vans that loved to swim and play in water to accept that as hard fact.

So? A breed characteristic speaks to generalized temperments. It doesn't mean that you won't see a turkish van that doesn't like water. It also doesn't mean that you won't find random other cats that like water. You get down to the micro level, all sorts of differences can be seen.

I think there are types of cat in the wild that actively like water, but I can't remember what they are.

Oh, I agree. The water-happy cats I've known were all a little oddball. Did I sound harsh?

Because books.

I think tigers like the water. Not sure about lions.
