Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

What MsBelle said. Totally.

I hate going home sick. It's so embarassing.

No. Going home sick because you forgot to bring tampons and the bathroom machine is out -- that's embarrassing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

you cannot help being sick. save your valuable embarrassment for things you can actually help - like bad haircuts, clothes, food stains, and the like.

Good call, msbelle.

OK, I have learned: that there will not be large envelopes with the new branding. Instead there will be labels we can use on blank envelopes. Such a joker move --you either have to type the labels on a typewriter or use double labels. The denoument to the whole thing is my favorite part, though: My boss then proceeded to write notes on the old letterhead to go inside the envelopes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, I am currently embarassed that I have that Natasha Bedingfield (or whatever) song in my head.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Why do corpses generally float face-down: [link]

Fascinating, in a morbid way.

Silence means security silence means approval

Also, I am currently embarassed that I have that Natasha Bedingfield (or whatever) song in my head.

It's a guilty, embarrassing pleasure, so just accept it as it is.

I am generally unembarassed about my love of pop music, but that song? Is bad. The video? Worse.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'll do you one better. Why on earth would a large corporation roll out a meticulously designed new website structure, before user-testing it to see where the bugs are?

If it is the Large Corporation that we have in common, I could tell you tales that would make Dilbert's IT department look well-run. There are days recently when I feel like the best deck-swabber on the Titanic... my decks are nicely swabbed indeed, everybody says so, but the ship is still on a collision course with an iceberg, no matter what I do.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Why on earth would a large corporation roll out a meticulously designed new website structure, before user-testing it to see where the bugs are?

Just had to look at that again. It made me think of that day, back in 2028, when the Google BetaMobile was released.
