I despise Sarah Jane Smith! I thought she'd been eaten or something and put out of my misery!
I was always lukewarm on her, despite the fact that I regard her tenure as something of a golden age of Doctor Who (Planet of the Spiders! The Seeds of Doom! The Pyramids of Mars! Genesis of the Daleks!). But apparently she's one of the most popular companions ever, if not the most. And, to be fair, I can understand that. Elisabeth Sladen did a fine job.
And since the ABC is currently up to the oxygen-suck that is Adric and Tegan, I have to say that it could've been a lot worse. (But tonight -- oh, tonight! Adric go boom!! There may be cheering. Muted cheering, I don't want to wake the kids downstairs.)

I think people here who don't watch the series might like to know about it and tune in. I know a lot of people are generally spoiler averse though, and might not want to go into spoilers lite or spoilers.

Skipping again, is anyone else watching Veronica Mars? I watch with the cc on, but I'm getting the cc of some report on the same sex-marriage debate in Massechusetts, and I was wondering if it's really happening or am I just losing it?
