Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

That actually sounds kind of fun. But I'm no help, as I won't get VM for a few hours here.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Is VM a rerun? When does it start back up?

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

OMG! Same problem here, except it is not Massachusetts, it is how dolphins are surviving Hurricane Katrina!! In swimming pools, apparently!

WTF is up with the WB?? Is it being attacked by CNN or something?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Ah, happy days, happy days.

Oh yes. Conversation last night:

Me: "Oh, Earthshock! The first ep of this is really quite good."
Brendan: "I bet you're looking forward to the last one too."

I never really minded Nyssa, but watching all this again, good lord but the acting is wooden. Alas, from here on I really don't find myself enjoying a companion's performance until we get to Ace.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Dirt, the Spike Jonze-helmed Sassy spin-off, attempted to give boys a similar alternative, but its audience was already largely tapped by Sassy.

I still have two issues of Dirt (Spike Jonze! Jason Lee!). And the Sassy issue with Juliana Hatfield on the cover. In fact, I still have a Dirt sticker. I just need something cool enough to put it on.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The dog just came up, poked her head over the top of the laptop screen, and dropped a tennis ball onto the keyboard.

Guess I'm going out.

I loves me some Turlogh. Especially when they stripped him down to a Speedo, but stupidly left the shirt on, damnit! They stripped Nyssa down to a cami and tap pants, but kept Turlogh's upper half mostly covered, albeit wet--I demand equal time for near-naked male companions!

Turlough has grown on me over the years, but he's still a bit too snivelling for my tastes. Well, and a bit too Y chromosome, if we're talking about other tastes.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Hopefully if they listen to your demands, it will be in concert with Captain Jack returning next season.
